tempus fugit, as to Palin’s “executive” experience. Get real. She couldn’t even finish that puny Alaska governor job! Palin is an opportunist, a quitter and a mental midget. BTW, Alaska has a population of 654,000. The city of Arlington a suburb of Dallas & Fort Worth has half that many people! Hell, Jerry Jones would be a better choice. There will be more than 654,000 in attendance at Cowboy’s games in Arlington this season. The stadium is so big Jerry can see Russia from the top of the scoreboard!

As for Palin appearing on Letterman, I will guess yes. Letterman got caught with his pants down, so he won’t be as hard on Palin as he would have before he was EXPOSED.

Full disclosure, I agree with both DS & fellow Libertarian Andrew Napolitano of FOX when it comes to Palin. Seriously, is she the best the Republicans have to offer?

O’Reilly is the only “Independent” with a bias toward conservatism of note that will prostitute himself to attempt to sell a book on Letterman.
There of course are lesser lites that will try.
I don’t believe SP will be allowed to appear if she is indeed going to run for office.
The one thing I take issue with you is your statement SP barely
graduated from college in 6 years etc. That to me is a plus.
Look how well we are doing under Obama and others that excelled in college. The MBAs alone in the management of no longer viable businesses would comprise the first two pages of the donor lists .
Gee–Enron was full Texas, Texas A&M,
Harvard grads with honors. I understand what you are trying to portray but that one seems a bit of a reach.

Like it or not, it’s practically obligatory for a national candidate to appear on SNL. I predict that SP skips Letterman’s show.

Debbie, you have one thing wrong in your blog.

Sarah’s book wasn’t “ghostwritten” She did have a collaborator, Lynn Vincent. MOST authors, even prolific ones, have some collaboration.

The book is based on journals Palin has kept since childhood. So in reality, one can say she has been writing the book all of her life. This is why the book got done in record time, it was more of a case of editing, than writing, I’m sure.

Also, by very definition, the “ghostwriter” BS doesn’t fly, because Palin, HarperCollins, and Vincent herself were up front about the fact that Vincent was part of the deal.

Now if we want to talk “ghostwritten” books, let’s talk Obama, who’s first book was evidently written by Bill Ayers, according to all of the evidence, and his second by Jon Favreau.

As for Letterman, I don’t see it, but who knows. Being able to take it to the enemy is something Palin is very good at.

Personally I’d rather she take him on a hunting trip!

G: That’s a relatively new cover story, but not the real story. It’s well known that Lynn Vincent wrote the entire book, using some Palin interviews and audiotape. Palin didn’t write a single sentence of it. We won’t be reading the drivel an ignoramus wrote in a notebook when she was 16. A woman who can’t name a single newspaper or magazine she reads and barely graduated from college with a journalism degree–after six years in six different colleges–cannot and did not write a book, much less even a chapter. Not sure she’s even read it yet (or any other book). I don’t dispute that Obama’s books were ghostwritten. DS

Debbie take heart wherever you go and whatever you do almost everything turns into a groupthink mentality. There are few true freethinkers like you. The left has the “Obama worship” and the right to a much smaller degree has “Palin worship”. Nothing can get close to “Obama worship”. Hell there is “Ron Paul worship” too. However I always find it amazing how people will change their views when the group decides what is best for the individual. Free thinkers are usually lone wolves. Hurray for the lone wolf!!

CS: Agreed, with one exception. You haven’t seen the death threats, blatantly anti-Semitic comments, and completely unhinged, insane hate mail in my inbox from Palinmessiah followers. I, also, do not share Debbie’s disdain for Palin (although the babymama and househusband observations are entirely accurate, and disappointing). That being said, if Palin does go on Letterman, that’s it for me. At that point, I wouldn’t vote her in as dogcatcher.
