With all the speeches having to do with the fall of the wall
20 years ago it's amazing that none of the big shot principals
involved are mentioning the guy who had the most to do with
the collapse: Ronald Reagan. On a trip to Central Europe a
couple of years ago I noticed that our German guide gave Gorby
all the credit for the wall coming down and I'll give him credit for not ordering the troops in to stop it, but Ronald
Reagan created the impetus for the collapse of the Eastern bloc
and if you read the press releases of this event it was like he
had no bearing whatsoever. Typical Western journalism.

Very nice lead, Debbie, and I like the way you worked in a little bit of radical-Muslim-awareness sentiment.

Europe is a crystal ball for America. Look to Europe for our future, if we continue to allow unimpeded immigration of Muslims. They do not assimilate into their host societies; they infiltrate and multiply, and as they grow stronger, they demand that their host societies accommodate them with ever-increasing Muslim laws and traditions. But it is not just accommodation, since it ultimately becomes Muslim tyranny and oppression of all other faiths and lifestyles.

Our willingness to live and let live, and our open culture makes us extremely susceptible to this insidious takeover.

Perhaps only a severe tragedy will give us the real shock which we need to awake from our stupor. I hope that it isn't the simultaneous detonation of nuclear devices in multiple American cities, as is the dream of Osama Bin Laden. For as is obvious from this most recent tragedy, people are far too willing to make excuses, rather than facing hard facts.

But has Communism really fallen in Europe? Given the dominant PC in Europe at this time, and the kowtowing to the Russians and Muslims, the Commies really, in a sense, wound up winning. Europe managed to turn victory into defeat.

Those cute red deer have much more sense than humans. There's probably a spiritual presence that people don't sense. If however enough muslims populate one side. I'm sure the deer will have the good sense to cross over.

The difference between human beings and animals is the latter are forever trapped by the sum of their inborn programming. They can do no more than what their instincts tell them. Human beings on the other hand have free choice. But some people think its too hard and we should be more like the beasts in living a regimented existence.

Now THAT's sad!
