I called Applebee's and said I'd like to order the chicken strips platter and I'd pick it up and get it to go since I had to attend work and such, and work on a project as I ate.When I told him I was a Vet, he instantly said "Sorry, this is for dine-in only."Of course.....there's always a catch.Happy Veteran's Day everybody.<strong>SH: As I noted on Sunday, this is a business and marketing thing more than anything. And the dine-in only requirement proves it. They're hoping most non-paying military vets will bring with them others who are not military and will be paying customers.
