Going back to the real issue before pointing out at Islam for Akon’s immoral attitude why not look back at your demoralized society, if such things are not made lawful by your society he won’t dare it, did Islam ever made lawful such act if not your demoralized society,even though the girl is above 21, is that act it morally acceptable?…But it was made lawful in your society. Born and bred in America,why do you expect him not to behave like an American.

Its so sad that people just bash into other people’s belief well to me its cool coz ‘ i love to be misjudged coz it shows how foolish some people seem to be’. Islam is a religion of peace and it preaches peace and also moral value in all ramification. Akon might be a muslim but he is not an icon of Islam, he’s attitudes should not be used to judge Islam, thousands of other immoral artist like him who are non-muslim go unpunished without anybody pointing at their religion or even themselves for the immoral act. Rihanna and others have done worse than him. To Debbie be wary of what you post on the internet,hating Islam and Muslim would do you no good but rather more harm because you only waste your time framing issues like this to hit at Muslims so as to annoy us, but it will never shake us from our faith. Muslims are being blackmailed,misinterpreted,abused,misjudged and are facing a lot of injustice from people like you, no one calls them extremists, terrorists and so on. But when a muslim retaliates in the same manner everyone says he is an extremist,intolerant and all sort of names.

i am really shocked at this blog ….
i can understand that the writer might be disgusted from Akon’s actions but to try to point to islam in a negative way every two lines is so sad.
Islam is a great religion and if Akon or The Writer of this Blog had only 1/100000 of the muslim values theu wud be the best ppl in the world.It’s the reliogion that tells you that the more u give to the poor the more u will gain must be shown more respect. Thanks, I read the comments and can’t help being astonished. Jesus Christ,Muhammad, Sree Krishna, Buddha all are good, divinely religious leaders. With the passage of time we’ve moved away from their actual teachings and principles and debased their characters. Its our fault. Here someone says that Islam inspires the Muslims to kill the believers of other religions. Not that at all. The Koran is a high standard verse having a deep beauty. If we want to understand its inner meaning without the knowledge of spirituality, we must fall in a wrong concept.
