PUH-LEEZE.'This was the most interesting (or rather, unexpected) part of the whole article. While I do not have an opinion on climate change (being honest enough to admit I don't understand the science and am not likely to, simply being shown a bunch of graphs and charts by one side and paranoid conspiracies by the other.) But I had no idea that opinions about climate change were related to being a conservative.I'm not conservative. I'm not liberal. I think if you identify with either way of thinking very strongly, you are not a balanced person. I find TV to be vulgar, repetitive trash and haven't watched it for decades, and the way sexuality is often portrayed there to be - ugly, but even more, sadly degrading. I'm for recognizing ALL humans as equal - and have a lot of disgust for the delusional party lifestyles promoted on tv, whether by gays or by heteros. I think gays should have civil unions, and that government should change its terminology so that it is out of the business of marriage altogether. If someone wants to join a church and work for change from within, that's their problem.

‘last night, he pimped “climate change.” That’s conservative? He's the one to support against Senator Dudd. Here's his

I never thought she was anything but a bimbo - didn't get the whole point of the hopefully brief love affair, but then I don't watch TV - except just lately I have watched Glenn Beck whom I consider to be the real deal. He has had an epiphany obviously, but then I had one too about 9 years ago - not political but religious. He is a recovering alcoholic and I know about those too - my best friend is one. His political views are libertarian, but then so are my 3 adult children's and the same best friend and her husband - and some of mine as well. However I find Glenn's attention to Thomas Paine and basic founding principles very refreshing and very good for the conservative movement. Yes Tea Partiers are perhaps misled somewhat but my experience is that they are not, and they are learning more about our country and it founding as they go along. And yes I have attended a Tea Party and talked with some of those attending, including my state senator who is an admirable, tiny but tough and energetic lady.About Linda McMahon a would-be CT senator - interesting that you should bring her up. I have had a number of snail mail requests for help from her turn up in my mailbox, and I have also heard from Simmons and Tobin, but not a word from my choice at this point, Peter Schiff. I saw him on Fox News after my hour of Glenn Beck, and I was totally impressed. He is an economic conservative, and as I've said for years, without property rights there are no human rights. I well remember his dad who refused to pay taxes which he believed were unconstitutional, and now Irwin Schiff is a 70 something man in jail. I would not have had the courage! One person I would like to speak of who is to me the real deal, and that is Mark Levin, a mensch in every respect, and please do not speak ill of this man! He had had such heart problems and every time he coughs I worry. This man has got it right imho and he continues to give of himself on behalf of the country he loves.I had a interesting experience last Tuesday - riding home from the airport with a driver I had ridden with before - a man whom I knew to be conservative but had never spoken with so extensively. Frank came to the US from Italy in 1961 and works as a driver for a limo company. He is intelligent and informed, with lots of time spent in an unoccupied car and the opportunity to listen a lot to talk radio. We talked politics all the way from Queens, NY to my home, a trip of over an hour, and to me he is a fine example of a serious commonsense conservative who loves his adopted country and fears for her future. Our conversation was both enlightening and uplifting. And incidentally, he likes Lou Dobbs who comes across to him as the real deal. However, I have only heard or seen Dobbs a few times but do agree with his stand on immigration.Enough said - thanks for the round table Debbie - you're a tough lady, but that's what people say about me!

Interesting conversation was my first thought – even though these are comments not conversations, but I sure am sick of Ms. Prejean.
