In their hearts, both Holder and Obama agree with KSM. While they cannot express open support for the jihadists; they can and do everything to make them successful. Sadly, the West has fallen into a moral miasma, consumed with the idiocy of multi-culturalism, diversity, and entitlements for all; legal or illegal.

This decision was not made by Eric Holder, but by Barack Obama. The defendants involved had already confessed their crimes quite willingly long ago, and even took pride in them. By changing their plea to not guilty, they get a chance to do all sorts of wonderful things in front of a huge audience. Whatever happens, this whole mess will be on Barack’s plate.

They also have the right to a “bench trial” meaning no jury, just judge. Lawyers hate it because it’s much harder to manipulate the emotions of a solitary judge than twelve oprahized Americans. It is a Constitutional right and after seeing numerous interviews of former jurors in high profile cases, you couldn’t get me to go to a jury for ANYTHING civil or criminal.

And the next danger is the ineptness of the Justice Dept. in prosecuting them. You have written previously about the inability of the Govt to litigate effectively in various high-profile cases political. Unfortunately in this one as well, litigative ineptness is combined with political ineptness.

My guess is that when KSM faults Israel and the “Zionists”, he will find sympathetic American heads nodding in agreement. Most of the key foreign policy personnel in the Obama administration agree with this assessement starting, of course, with Obama himself.

This trial is a farce, I think the fix has been in, and there are other agendas at work here. I believe Bush and Cheney are the best defense against anything and everything they plan to do to this country in the next 3 years and the powers that be are laughing at how long that card is playing so far. How long will we allow them to use that old tired excuse that Bush left us with… Bush made them hate us… Bush tortured…
