Detroit hasn’t been relevent since Barry Sanders left. When they hired Matt Millen he became the grim reaper of the franchise. Maybe in another year or two they will make some wise choices in the draft and start surprising people. As for Dallas you don’t know who is going to show up from one week to the next. They’re just as pschizophrenic as their (I want to be in the tabloids)owner. Jerry Jones is the bane of the Cowboys exsistance, they will never win again until he sells the team. This is the curse he caused ever since he fired Jimmy Johnson after winning a second consecutive Super Bowl so I just love watching them lose. (quasi coach LOL)

Reason it’s held in Detroit each year is because Detroit fans should be thankful that they have such a wonderful team in the NFL. Seems almost like it was just yesterday and Bobby Layne and the Lions were the toast of the town.

When Detroit moved indoors, it became a bore-fest. Now, that the Lions suck, it’s an insult to fans. Thanksgiving happened in Massachusetts so perhaps the Patriots should be hosting the game…maybe?

Noah, you can thank Matt Millen for the team being in its predicament. they will need a few years just to get back to being relevant. yes its bad ball, i wont lie and i gave up my own season tickets, but thank the bozo that ESPN hired to do college ball.

Maybe if they let the Lions play their cheer leaders it would be a better and more closely matched game on Thanksgiving.

That video shows that Matt Stafford is a keeper. You may laugh now, but the Lions can be a great team if they get Stafford a team around him. I would start with a power running back, or a Barry Sanders-type.

Well now there are three games on thanksgiving. Let the Lions and Packers have their traditional game, and the Cowboys play whoever they play. But on the night game, change it up. Let other teams play on thanksgiving every year. Say….one year would be my Ravens and I dunno, the Texans? And the next year could be Bucs and Eagles.
