Happens with most of those dumb so-called comedies these days.
Obviously can't comment on the movies here but as far as the trailers: 'Me and Orson Welles' looks watchable if I had time to kill but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.
With their avant garde mish-mash collage 'Broken Embraces' and 'A Single Man' tell me nothing except to stay away from these.
'Nine' (nine? So where are the little rag doll robots?) looks to have a half decent plot (mayby) but I don't care much for musicals unless it's Fiddler on the Roof. That leaves 'The Lovely Bones' which looks very promising. Certain parts have an otherworldly "What Dreams May Come" look to them and the murderer brought to justice type plot is always tops on my list.
I hope when Deb said: "Also remember, trailers are almost always waaaaay better than the actual movie" she didn't mean this one was the stinker of the bunch! Thanks Debbie, I'm looking forward to the reviews.

Don’t you just hate it when the trailer shows not only the best, but also the only good parts of the movie and the rest is two hours of filler? Tom Ford lays an egg...As for "Broken Embraces", I'll probably see it now matter how bad it is, subtitles or not...just because the way Penelope Cruz lights up that screen!

Wow…after viewing these trailers, if they are suppossed to be waaaay better than the movie’s themselves, I’m thinking the stinker must be “A Single Man”. Craft generally trumps flash.

I’m guessing that you liked “The Lovely Bones”, Debbie-I don’t know much about the film beyond Peter Jackson being involved, but he is a solid filmaker, even if he did add 15 endings to the “Lord of the Rings”.
