It’s a shame that you can’t see that history repeats itself. The jews were persecuted during WWII and thus they persecute the Palestinians. The propaganda created by the Nazis is exactly the type of propaganda you are creating here. The fact is that Palestinian people lived on the land for centuries where extremist jews have built settlements recognised internationally as illegal. And for their fight to return to the land which was stolen from them, whether by terrorist means or not, the Palestinians continue to suffer under Israeli occupation through a wrath of war crimes and human rights violations, a suffering which has lasted for much longer than that of the jews in the Nazi concentration camps. Peace is a two way street that you should not blockade to only allow those who move in your direction to pass.

Really badly, one sided article, clearly bias and just can’t stand the fact that anyone could support Palestine in anyway. Perhaps a little more wider reading in this subject area is needed, or perhaps some time in israel/ palestine with an open mind will add some deeper perspective. Why don’t some people realise that we are all people and must respect each other, too much blood has been spilt and unfortunately there are far too many narrow minded people surrounding the palestinian Israel conflict that any real developments are slow or non existent. I will be interested in seeing the movie and then save my opinions until after I have seen it, seems a little fairer that way. By the way British and European media are far more balanced than the states on this issue, but what had to be said is that there is so many more murders by Israelis on a weekly and daily basis that go unreported, there are huge injustices happening hence many people in the world are against the israels illegal occupation.

Israel is the aggressor. Territories have been illegally occupied for 45 years. (See UN security council resolutions) As an aggressor, Israel can’t use self-defense to legitimize its use of force against the resister’s of its aggression. Furthermore, the Rome Statute (which has been ratified by about 170 countries) considers Israel’s presence in the occupied territories as war crimes. The only reason why Israel is portrayed as the victim is because of the Israel Lobbyists in the US. Go do some research for yourselves.
