Hah,right on target Debbie,I ve watched the show a couple times when Angie Harmon was on,but even then you are right it was self serving,pandering and preachy,as much as I liked Angie and still do,I couldn t watch that show…O’Reilly insults us conservatives at every opportunity he has,call us all kinds of hostile names,I watched him at first but then I realized he was a flake,her subs aren t much better,so now he is offended,good for him,he is getting a taste of his own medicine.

Bill O’Reilly IS an elitist – no doubt! Every time I hear him say “the folks” I want to smack him.. He is a condescending educated fool who is starting to be found out by “the folks”.
It seems ironic to me when I hear Rush and Mark Levin on radio speaking about events and the next day billi-boy and Glenn Beck
come up with the same ideas — not classy!

I just saw an episode of Law & Order SVU where they blamed ISRAEL for taking forensic science 20 years back by inventing a way to fake blood DNA. They also stated that every criminal convicted on the base of DNA in the past should be set free now as the DNA was probably faked (due to the Israeli invention).

From what I’ve seen of them, the perps are also rich & white. Admittedly it’s not obvious from the way it’s written, but Debbie is right. The show, for all it’s pretense of realism, isn’t very in several respects, one being the relative frequency of real crimes when compared to what they portray. And that, if I understand her correctly, is her point. It does make sense, though one has to think about it a bit (and have seen it a few times) to realize that.

Actually Law & Order was a decent show its first few seasons when Michael Moriarty was the Executive DA. It has become a cesspool the last few seasons (as has its spin offs). As for O’Reilly, I don’t blame him for being ticked off and the fact that the man is a bloviator should not matter. O’Reilly never claimed to be a conservative and he is not a conservative by any stretch – he tends to be more libertarian. There was one episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent which was based on the incident which a Russian was poisoned n London. L & O CI turned into an Israeli Mossad incident and frankly it was borderline anti Semitic.

Huh, Debbie, I clicked on the link in your article and it took me to your 2008 column. And here’s what I found:

Here’s a quote from your own column in 2008:

Wolf makes most of the VICTIMS wealthy white people. VICTIMS. Not the criminals, the VICTIMS. Get the difference?

So how does it follow that, to quote your column today, that “he limits minority criminals on the show–he specifically cited Blacks and Muslims–to only four or five episodes out of a season of 22-24 episodes?”

Now I know why O Reilly has been soft on Obama lately, tonight he said he was invited to a White House Christmas party! Kiss A##s, I am so sick of his comment when Talking about Obummer “just to be fair”
that is weak. It is just as bad as Obama with his “let me be clear” saying.As for Jews being tight that is a myth, I have worked for many different groups and cultures and I found Italians and Irish to be very cheap and tight,just my experience.
O Reilly always goes to his wing man and former liberal Bernie Goldberg,” so Bernie how are the right wingers and talk show hosts behaving?” Like Bernie is some sort of expert,-please!
