Transformers notes:
1) The foreign accent is Australian. A slightly over the top one, but the actress is actually Aussie.
2) To me, it felt shorter than 2.5 hours. But I’m an old fan and have waited 20 years after the animated movie to see it
3) I think the swearing, sexual content was in because it was more aimed at guys my age who remember the originals… the Autobots and some of the Decepticons were all based on original series characters relesed in 1984, not some of the more recent incarnations.

If ‘Evening’ is the long awaited sequel to ‘Beaches”, then it should be called ‘Son of Beaches’. Rim shot please

Aw, Debbie, I thought Paris short films were good…okay, not great, but good. The first one, though, was ludicrous–I thought, yeah, right, Act 2 is the honor killing.
It was just nice to see movies about love with no special effects, no big messages, just little stories. My favorite was the cowboy one.

The commercial for ‘Evening’ made me wretch. One says to another, ‘we are mysterious creatures’. Yea, you got the creature part right. I think the line should be ‘we are totally self-absorbed creatures’.

Becuase this is how the dead moon circus (my sailor moon reference for hollywood) for years has always found a way to get around the ratings system so they can force immorality in the minds of children. You see it in children’s shows VERY often, so it’s not suprising to find it here. They need to realize that this isn’t japan’s culture…where it is tolerated and their way of life is different.
I’m an anime fan, and just becuase I watch some animes with perverted scenes and female nudity, doesn’t make me an evil person, a pervert, or a stalker of girls. Where I except it in anime becuase I understand that japan has their own standards, i don’t accept it in american entertainment.
DS, we need to discuss more about anime cuz I really need to give you a heads up on it.
