If I recall, Richards is strictly a rhythm, not lead, guitarist. Myself, I prefer Dire Straits. I like music for grownups. And Knopler is a bit of a mensch, if I recall. (He also ranked higher than White on the Stones’ Poll.)

Boy, (you don’t mind if I call you Boy, d’ya, Boy?) I saw the Stones in B’Ham, and they FILLED LEGION FIELD.

Stones= A List. White Stripes—not there. Sloss Furnace venue is for “artistic” bands, not the highest draw spot in ‘Bama, which goes to Legion Field. Unlike you, I lived in ‘Bama for 7 years. How about a nice cup of STFU?

The stars are Jimmy PAge, The Edge from U2, Jack WHITE! In Guitar World, Jimmy page, Steve Via, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Kirk Hammit of Metallica, B.b King, Buddy Guy and more i can’t remeber said the one guitarist they see thats taking the guitar the next step is du nu nu Jack White! Eric Clapton said the first time he heard him Jack play was very close to hearing Jimi Hendrix the first time. “All the stuff he does like jumping octaves, using feedback…all in a blues motif really reminded me of what I heard when listening to Jimi HEndrix for the first time. He really seems to be taking the guitar to this whole new realm.” yeah, a terrible guitarist indeed. I wonder who you guys think are the best. Toby Keith? Jimmy Buffett? Miley Cirus? You are kidding, right? You probably saw them at at a 3,000 capacity venue! They pulled 10,000+ at Sloss Furnace in Alabama, a state known for not supporting bands! The ignorance in these post astonish me! When everyone form, Loretta Lynn(he produced/co-wrote/played guitar on her critacally acclaimed, platinum album Van Lear Rose), to Jay-Z(They have collaborated on a few tracks, including Ray-Bans-soon to be released), to Alicia Keys(The new JAmes Bond flicks Track “Another Way to dIe”), to Wanda JAckson(Just finished producing her newest album), to Taylor Swift(stated the one person she wold kill to collaborate with is Jack White), To Keith Richards(Instudio now working on fresh material), the list goes on, clammer for a collaboration with him in any way, he’s obviously not a z-lister. A z-lister would be someone like Toby Keith-”Bullets in a Gun?” Give me a break! I find that much more offensive than a guy that says he’s pissed the armed forces ripped off a sog they wrote to recruit for war he didn’t agree with. If you are for war, in any capacity, you are a detriment to human kind. I wish someone would post where Jack said he was against the troops. And a bit of info, In countless interviews, Jack has bitten his tongue when it comes to politics, stating he;s just here for the music. And that he hates when stars use their platform to push their ideology.

Name these musicians… seriously, give them some air time. I’ve seen Jack cut Jeff Beck and Keith Richards heads off(No he’s not muslim, its slang for one guitarist blowing the doors off of the other.) By the way, He was Loretta Lynns Producer, Just finished producing an album by Wanda JAckson and is in the works with Keith Richard making new material. You guys make me sick! Tell me where it says he is against the troops? I bet 99% of musicians would be against their music being used as recruitment tools! Lets send poor farm kids off die! How many of you conservatives in the media have children that joined up? ZERO, they are i an Ivy LEague college taking bong hits and snorting lines of coke! Calling JAck White a C-lister shows how in the dark you cretans are. Lets see, 7 Platinum albums, Wrote and performed the opening theme to the newest James Bond flick, Is recognized as the best guitarist of the past thirty years(Rolling Stone), was one of the subjects of the film “It Might Get Loud”, along with Jimmy Page and the Edge from U2-profiling the electric guitar, named the most prolific song writer since Bob Dylan(NME magazine). Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones are huge fans,by the way. Both frequently inviting him to play with him. Even the pure and innocent Taylor Swift said her biggest fantasy is to collaborate with none other than Jack White. He played “Loving Cup” with the Stones on the Martin Scorsese film “Shine a Light”. The list goes on and on. Maybe you guys should listen to his tune “Icy Thump”, it will give you neanderthals reason to be up in arms… with lyrics like “How’s using who/what should we do?/well you can’t be a pimp and a prostitute too”-this song refers to crazy stance you hate mongers have against immigration. Get a life. I am proud of our men and women in uniform. I’m disgusted we are using these bright young people to fight and die to gain percentage points at the polls.
