Seriously! women like you are also responsible for such pathetic situations of women in not only muslim countries but everywhere else. Irrespective of caste or creed ppl like you are not even worth hating or pitied! Ppl like you are pathetic sadist spineless worms(sorry for the insult to worms!)who first of all cannot stand up for their rights,freedom & happiness, but also are cowards! You ppl are certainly going backwards with respect to spiritual journey! God himself has said tat we should fight for our rights! well, at least the nature,his creation, demonstrates so, in many many forms;ex: survival of the fittest,only the ones which are strong tough etc survive.
my advice to ppl like ” Beautiful Muslim Woman”: ” I know wat its like to be brain washed in the name of religion. But it is our duty to filter the bad and take only the applicable good.And for that you have to think and observe and use religion only to refer to at times. finally each one of us follows our own path,cos each one o us is unique and so is the way we think.If god wanted us to be controlled by men, he wouldnt have given us free will, he would ve just made us puppets. If god, meant for us to be kicked around and ill-treated by men,he wouldnt have given us one of the greatsest strenght, an ability to create miracle:to give birth! If we can give birth,think, is our place only at men’s feet?Being able to reproduce is equivalent God. look around you. His creation, nature ,every single thing will answer ur quetions. “

Yawn. Do we really need to trot out all of the articles on Saudi Arabia? Also, domestic violence is reported in the Western press, and is prosecuted. Do we also need to provide those citations for you? Finally, do women need “male guardians” in Western societies to transact the most minor business?

In the Saudi case, this is a government’s judicial system that is imposing this penalty. How is that comparable to a wife or girlfriend beater, whose actions would be considered a crime. Do you think 300 lashes(if done all at once could be fatal)and 18 months in jail is an appropriate response in this woman’s case?

Folks, it’s plain to any anthropologist that polygamy is a cultural, rather than religious aberration. Mohammed (if he really existed) was raised in a culture that marginalized women, so he naturally practiced the tenets of his peers. Obviously, these “men” were misogynistic control-freaks of the highest order who chose to embrace that unfortunate trait down through the centuries. We Western “men” were of a similar, albeit less strident, mindset until only recently. Bottom line, ladies? Get your s**t together and make yourselves unavailable to jealous, insecure momma’s boys who seek only to objectify you!
