I’m coming out of my slumber! We’re not all Mensa memebers, DS.
I do hold a major grudge against those who aid the enemy–like Finley did here. Yet, even if an idiot (or an enemy) get’s it right once in a while, I’d give the idiot a pat on back–FOR WHAT HE GOT RIGHT. And still we should call him out on his treason and NEVER forget it.
Finley and the Newsistan are not going away–though Finley’s paper is losing circulation and dying every day. As an advertiser–I have observed that so many of us are finding the Newsistan’s impact as a medium for reaching customers is so anemic and gets worse all the time.
Take a page from Rush Limbaugh on this one–you often have recognized him as an ally, even though he kisses W’s rear end most every day. He often says–”I am pragmatic enough to know you are not going to get everything at once….”

MOST of what he writes makes a LOT of good sense to me. He doesn’t blame GW for the criminal elements within Iraq, he blames the:
1.) Cowardly military and police for disappearing into the woodwork upon the invasion,
2.) The spineless PC “de-Baathification”,
3.) The politicians trying to run a war on the cheap and with offending as few people as possible.
Personally … I would have levelled his entire country and started over, but wimpy Americans don’t have stomach for real war these days. HE knows that, Mr. Bush knows that, and his Generals are clueless.
