Unhinged Katie Couric to America: “Bite Me”

By Debbie Schlussel
The class and dignity of Network TV news anchors went down yet another notch (and we thought it couldn’t get any lower).
Dan Rather’s replacement at CBS, Katie Couric, has a rather interesting and angry–not to mention, classless–response to her critics, relayed to the January issue of Esquire, according to Radar:

You have something in the November issue, something about how since I’ve become an anchor, you don’t know me anymore. You don’t know me anymore? Bite me.

CBS Evening “Bite Me” News with Katie & Elmo

(This is after she said, by the way,

We kind of ignore people who are observing everything we do and praising, criticizing or analyzing it.

Hardly sounds like she’s ignoring them, if they got her to say, “Bite me.”)
“Bite me”? Would love to see her have the guts to say those two words on her newscasts. But no-one will hear it if she does. Judging from the ratings, most of America, has already said, “Bite me,” to Katie Couric.

Courice, “We kind of ignore people who are observing everything we do and praising, criticizing or analyzing it.”
Well, Kate, we’ve kind of ignored you, too.

It’s time for her bi-monthly teeth-filing regimen at the dentist.

This is just a John Kerry-style attempt to gain street cred by sounding like she can be as rude and tough as any normal person. Who cares about her anyway?

Reject ye those who suffer maladies of the mind, whose origins are rooted in psychological deficiencies and whose utterances are nothing but incoherent and irrational babble, lest ye go mad with unbridled rage.
Shield ye your eyes and ears from those who use devices to thrust themselves into your home, especially during dinner time, and whose purpose is to mold your mind and deform your reasoning skills to that of pond scum.
Turn ye your back on those who live in ivory towers and spew lies and drivel whose purpose is to destroy souls, pit friend against friend, and destroy country.
Find ye other means of news gathering and dare not rely on those who would deceive. Be wary of those who possess no talent, who are of Communist beliefs, who are atheistic yet find alliances within Islam, and whose mouth possesses a set of choppers that would make Jaws green with envy!
