Say It Ain’t So, Joe

By Debbie Schlussel

When I worked on Capitol Hill during college, I knew Republican then-Congressman Joe DioGuardi, New York’s Republican U.S. Senate candidate and father of former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi.  I knew him to be one of the most anti-jihadist Members of Congress.  He got it on Israel, the Islamic threat, and the Middle East.  (Somewhere in one of my boxes, I have photos with and a Christmas card or two from him.)  But as I’ve noted on this site, a lot of former conservative Congressmen from back then–guys who used to get it–are now chasing after extremist Muslim votes and money like there’s no tomorrow. It’s distressing,

Is that the case with Joe DioGuardi?  I’d like to think not.  He was a good guy, back then.  But my friend, conservative journalist Julia Gorin–a Russian Jewish immigrant who has done lots of excellent work on Islamic terrorism and radicalism in Eastern Europe–says that’s no longer the case. And she knows her stuff on this area like no one else.  She’s definitely an expert.

In an extensive piece, she documents Joe DioGuardi and his lobbying client, the Kosovo Liberation Army, an Islamic terrorist group that is an arm of Al-Qaeda.  Read the whole thing, and then tell me that Joe DioGuardi is the same guy I knew in the late ’80s.  It looks like the worm has turned.

Say it ain’t so, Joe.

Have always found Julia Gorin’s comments illuminating, especially her analysis of Eastern and Central Europe.

Re Muslim/Jihad Republicans, unfortunately virtually no ‘conservative’ pundits or talk-show hosts have exhibited any awareness of this threat. For instance, while driving today, I heard one talk-show host say that there was no Republican anywhere in the country that he wouldn’t support, with the one, reluctant exception that he grudgingly said he could understand supporting Tom Tancredo in Colorado. Hopefully some of the new Republicans in Congress will take up this issue, or hopefully some talk-show host(ess) somewhere so it becomes more publicized.

Unfortunately the threat of Muslim permeation of Republican candidates is specific in nature, and verbal truisms by O’Reilly or Williams, even if frequent and consistent, will not be enough. Names have to be named, and I don’t expect anyone on Fox to do this.

Wow Debbie, thanks for the information on Joe DioGuardi, I was about to vote for him against that schmuck Chuck Schumer or that phony Kristen Gillibrand, since you mentioned this information about DioGuardi, I more likley won’t vote for this guy, nor I’m NOT going to vote for Schmuer or Gillibrand tomorrow morning. If the Republicans want to take back the house and senate, why are they getting their money from radical islamist front groups? They are no different than the Democrats. And I’m still voting for Paladino, and I don’t know who the hell is running his campaign, I haven’t seen one pro-Paladino ad on television, all I’m seeing is the hack Andrew Cuomo ads using personal attacks against Paladino and lying about his own voting records (Cuomo BTW). And all weekend long when I was watching the football games (both NCAA & NFL alike), the Cuomo ads made my stomach turn-inside-out with his lies, etc. and endless attack ads against Paladino.

A lot of RINODhimmis… nearly as bad as the Democrats. Bipartisan jihad pandering will be the death of this country.

Debbie,

I cannot for the life of me figure out why you would post something like this the night before the election!! In DioGuardi, we have a pro-life, pro-fiscal responsibility social conservative who may, like–ahem–other people demonstrate a chauvinistic weak spot for people of his own cultural or ethnic persuasion. Does that mean New York, or the U.S. in general, is better served by having Gillibrand (who was SELECTED, not ELECTED) serve out the remainder of Hillary Clinton’s term? Of course not! After all, if you want to see someone who is REALLY soft on terror, you need look no further than the current occupant of the White House. And if you think Gillibrand is capable of going against her party and doing the right thing, well, you haven’t been paying attention. Sean R, PLEASE reconsider your decision. DioGuardi–and New York–need every Republican vote we can get.

H: Better late than never. I posted it right after Julia Gorin sent it to me. Not my timing. But the info needs to be heard. DS

The timing may be inconvenient but the truth deserves to be heard. We’ll get a lot of good people in office tonight. The bad news is we’ll also get some really bad apples in the bunch into office, too. That’s not a good thing and I don’t buy into everything the GOP does – conservatives shouldn’t.

Joe is pro-life IF you happen to be an Albanian!! Every other human being in KosovO can just get in line to get kidnapped and murdered by his pals, the KLA.

And maybe even get your organs stolen while you are still ALIVE!! Then those organs can get transplanted into some RICH Arab in the Middle Ea$t. MONEY PAID to the KLA and the ruling Albanian muslim clans of Joe’s favorite place KOSOVO.

Kosovo, an ancient Serbian word for “place of the blackbirds”.
Kosovo-Methojiha, in Serbian, the PLACE OF THE BLACKBIRDS and home of MONASTERIES!!

Kosovo means NOT one thing in Albanian.

Unlike Sean R., I’ve actually seen Paladino ads on TV – some of which did attack Cuomo and his status as a career politician. Apparently airing in New York City only unless other areas can speak up. And though this has nothing to do with the DioGuardi situation as Ms. Gorin documented (and Debbie brought to the fore here), I noticed the gall of the leftist media to attack Paladino for his comments about Kirsten Gillibrand being Chuck Schumer’s “little girl” for her voting exactly as he tells her to – given their own vicious, highly sexist, misogynistic, hearsay-based personal attacks against the likes of Sarah Palin (irrespective of the valid reasons Debbie gave against her which are more of substance), Michele Bachmann, Christine O’Donnell and Sharron Angle.

Debbie…It is true. DioGuardi is a muslim RAT. He has been president of the Albanian American Civic League (AACL) which has been KLA fundraiser and arms supplier for the past 20 years roughly. DioGuardi and AACL have also been fundraising for RINO/DEMO turncoats McCain, Bob Dole, Lantos, Gigrich, Rohrbacher plus numerous others who have sold out our national security by promoting pro-KLA jihadist policy on Capitol Hill
in exchange for political BRIBE money. There are actually so many on Capitol Hill on the payroll, it’d be hard to find one senator or rep whose hand is’nt in the islamo-jihadist “cookie jar”. These clowns go to washington and just go into the bribe collecting business. DioGuardi knows how DC works and how everything is FOR SALE.

ConernedPatriot, since you claimed that you’ve seen the pro-Paladino ads on television, that’s okay with, and Paladino is right about Cuomo, Cuomo is a “career politican” and a hack! As for Helen, I understand where your coming from, I wished that DioGuardi didn’t do that to hiself by collecting finances from radical islamist front groups, if you want to vote for DioGuardi, that’s fine with me, I’m not saying you shouldn’t vote for the dude, it’s your 1st amendment right, ie, freedom of expression.

Debbie…Thanks for posting the link to Julia Gorin’s exhaustive article “New York’s Republican Candidate for Senate (DioGuardi) is a Lobbyist for Terror”. I was not previously aware of this article although I was aware DioGuardi is IN BED with the KLA jihadist “sub humans”. Julia has done a tremendous job of documenting DioGuardi/KLA crimes, human rights violations and would normally be sufficient to trigger a Grand Jury investigation, filing of charges of treason and the conviction and hanging of Joe…BUT he has so many accomplices encompassing Capitol Hill, Whitehouse (That would include Bush41, Clinton, Bush 43 and Obama), State Dept (many accomplices here with their hands in the NARCO cookie jar), US military (Wesley Clark and staffers) to name just a few. It’s one huge “GROUP GROPE”. This group would SELL their own grandmothers, mothers, wives and daughters. The Albanian muslim tentacles of Joe DioGuardi and that other Albanian muslim bum Krasniqi have spread wide and far and bought off everyone in sight. I haven’t fully read Julia’s article yet. As far as I got, one ugly, sordid, sadistic chapter in the DioGuardi/KLA story I have not yet come across is their involvement in human organ “PIRACY”. Since 1999 it has also been revealed that the KLA has involved itself in the human organ transplant market by kidnapping young Christian Serb victims primarily, extracting their vital organs and supplying them to the transplant market in the cruelest most sadistic of enterprises. DioGuardio is in this up to his ears. It is appalling to consider the INTERNATIONAL CRIME that has been conducted AGAINST FORMER US ALLIES in the name of our great nation by “trusted” elected political elitist officials. They have betrayed our Nation and its patriotic citizens. Mainstream AMERICA needs to organize and march on Washington…20 to 30 million strong with shotguns and rusty pitchforks. Our “ruling class” needs to experience the rusty pitchfork up the ass.

You know, earlier on today I voted for a third party candidate against both DioGuardi & Gillibrand, Julia Gorin did a good job of exposing Joe DioGuardi, because I was about to cast my vote for him today, but this article that Debbie posted changed my mind about him. And yes I voted against Chuck Schumer, because most of us in New York know who this friggin guy is, the reason I think he continues to get re-elected is I believe that anti-american pressure groups are registering illegal-aliens to vote by committing “voter fraud”!

Thank goodness you read the article by Julia Gorin who is also a friend of mine. She is a fine reseacher and a good writer too.

She can ALSO be really funny at the right times as well.

Julia knows, as do I that the KLA is a group that continues to terrorise the NON- Albanians in Kosovo, only now they are the “legit” police and they never catch, arrest or keep in jail ANY Albanian who commits a crime against a non-Albanian.

And the criminal clans in Kosovo, also muslim, decide who will run the US backed govt. in Kosovo.

What a mess. Boy, is the USA on the wrong side of this situation.

    G-D help us.

Sewsalot on November 2, 2010 at 5:18 pm

Like ‘Sean R.’, I too voted for the third-party opponent of both the KLA supporter and the Schumer sock-puppet/Stepford wife.

ConcernedPatriot on November 3, 2010 at 3:45 pm

I still voted for him. Here in ny the state is a disaster. I live in a county that has the fifth highest property taxes in the state. Sheldon Silver has a choke hold on the state and yet people keep voting democratic.

The n they start complaining when things do not change. I do not want schumer and two more years of gillibrand. Plus with Gerry maundering my Congressman has been democrat Eliot Engel, who like gillibrand is an Obama rubber stamp. Also Gillibrand is seen as Schumer’s puppet.
