Michian is hopeless. Not only is it an economic basketcase, but the state government and Detroit are rife with incompetence and corruption. Yet the same brain-dead voters won’t do anything about it.
The beseiged Jewish community can talk with city officials until they’re blue in the face…nothing’s going to change.
New York City got to the point of being ungovernable but the voters did something about it and elected Giuliani, and later New York State voters threw out New York’s incompetent LIBERAL governor, Mario Cuomo.
Since there’s no will on part of the voters to clean up the state, at least urge the politicians to pass gun carry laws to clean up Detroit…but don’t count on it happening on either party’s part.
