Photo of the Day

By Debbie Schlussel
I’ll probably get attacked by every single politically correct liberal and conservative on the planet, but this photo is just dyin’ for an apt caption. Mine is the obvious one:

The Blind Leading the Blind: One Against His Will, the Other Against Our Will

Stevie Wonder with Barack Obama

What are your captions?

Man, I haven’t seen Stevie Wonder in a long time. He looks like a wreck!. The pied piper with the man pulling his strings.

Don’t feel bad, Debbie. A Colorado Springs State Senator was attacked by outraged Democrats for being against encouraging “sexual promiscuity.” This from the folks who don’t believe in moral absolutes. So why are they bothered by those of us who DO have standards? They should just ignore us!

Caption: The blind leading the blind.

Stevie Wonder needed shades because he was blinded by the light.

“No, Stevie, my hand…. shake my hand!”

spiffo on February 26, 2009 at 7:21 pm

“Oh Stevie, your hand down there is hope for the hopeless”

Obama: Stevie, I’m proud to be the first Black President (sic).
Stevie: What is black?

anonymous twit on February 26, 2009 at 8:17 pm

Wonder: What do you mean only chicks are wearing their hair like this anymore?

samurai on February 26, 2009 at 9:56 pm

One of these two men is blind the other is just so full of crap his eyes are brown…

Bert Convy on February 26, 2009 at 11:10 pm

Obama to Stevie: Hey baldy, you think I’m Black? 66 million other blind people think the same way. *wide Irish grin*

anonymous twit on February 27, 2009 at 1:45 am

Deb, you can expect that from all the fascists out there. But the caption you put is appropriate. I used to think of Stevie Wonder as a pop music genius…my all time fave song of his, the funk-laced Superstition.

1. Ever see Eddie Murphy’s impersonation of Stevie Wonder back in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s on Saturday Night Live? Hilarious.
2. Keith Olbermann will make you Worst Person In The World (if you’re lucky).
3. Favorite S.W. songs- “I Was Made To Love Her”, “Ma Cherie Amour”, “Part Time Lover” – yeah I am dating myself.

Stevie: “Seriously, Barack, I didn’t write ebony and ivory about you. Can you get over yourself for a minute?”

californiascreaming on February 27, 2009 at 11:14 am

How about “Looking for Governor David Patterson (New York) in all the wrong places”?

Ripper on February 27, 2009 at 12:12 pm

Ripper got MY vote for the best line:)
