The other day as I sat in a mist of snow. I decided to google my fathers name. It became evident that muslims in this country have become shunned as did many japanese americans did during ww2 in this country. With this is mind I write this response as the son of this alleged “terrorist.”

The problem with bloggers (this also goes for me) is that fact is not necessary. My father is Palestinian, not from lebanon. Yes crime was committed and time is currently being served but these allegations are far from the truth.

There is no shame to my family or our name. To quote a mentor of mine….”shit happens.”

u guys are ignorant..i am real good friends with this family… fisrt… they arent from lebanon!!! and they dont live in dearborn!!! its funny how as soon as an arabic family is brought up they automatically have to be muslims, terrorist or sending money to some terror group!! and all that money the gov said they made is a lie!!! they didnt even make no where near half of that money…and the only reason they pleaded guilty is because the lawyer told them to and everything will be fine but what they dontknow is that the lawyer is a JEW and played them..got his money and put them in jail…even the proscuter said it herself…”as soon as i heard u guys plead guily, i knew ur lawyer played u”…please people stop jumping to conclusin if u dont know the whole story!!!

Wow! What does this have to do with religion? Yes I completely agree that they should be punished for defrauding the government but are you suggesting that ALL non-muslims are angels? All crimes committed are committed by and for Islam?

Thanks for the cudos Deb. Unfortunately, the Governors Executive Order cut out a large part of our funding to run that unit, in spite of the millions we bring back to the state in seized assets from the perpetrators.

The investigators need to come to the Los Angeles area where food stamps are exchanged for hard cash at just about every little mini market check cashing establishment around in the open by mostly Illegal Aliens.
My guess from over hearing the conversations is around 50 cents on the dollar and maybe a bit higher if they exchange them for booze or cigarettes.
Why they do not use ATM type cards to stop this nonsense is beyond me.
