As I said in my remarks, I did not compare this with the Holocaust and I did not say otherwise in my comments.I in no way supported Marvin Tamaroff and his letter comparing Obama’s takeover of the these corporations to the Holocaust
(Maybe I should have posted this in a different topic)
We will have to disagree about the dealers being selectively terminated by the car czar since you do not like the term closed the end result is the same.
This is nothing but nationalization of the car business and represents criminal behavior by the Obama administration. IMHO

Its an outrage to read such an attack on such a fine man as Marv Tamaroff from idiots like you. You are a despicable vengful liberal whos true colors were shown over your loss to Marv Tamaroffs nephew Marc Shulman, who did you expect him to support, you. No wonder you lost. I agree with his letter and the fact the US govt is deciding whos business lives and whos dont under the guise of bankruptcy, not the free market. We are all in trouble with this new govt of change. The saddest part of all is that my fellow jews are leading the change to socialism in the Obama administration.

Of course not Debbie I just happen to know about the Dealerships because we used to own one. Since the Dealerships are privately owned franchises just why would a Bankruptcy judge order them closed. I do not think there is any precedent of a franchise being forced to close where a company is not going through chapter 7 but being reorganized.
(our Franchise cost us 1.5 million not including inventory in cars and parts)
The dealerships cost the corporations nothing and only generate sales to the company.
They cannot be liquidated for cash so the only reason is the order from the white house car Czar as Rush Limbaugh has confirmed with his sources.
It is just plain Grand Theft by the US Government.
How would you like the Government coming into your office and closing it for no other reason then they said so.

It’s amazing that so few people know that GM could have easily been let to fend for itself. They were already down from 1/2 million workers at their peak 15 years ago to only 92,000 right up to the bankruptsy. Not that I don’t feel bad for 92,000, but it’s not as so many felt it would be. I think that all the slack for all the related distributors would be eventually be taken by the remainder namely Ford, Toyota, Honda and all the other imports. And left to fend for itself, GM could have sold off the crap, instead of the diamonds like Hummer and Saab. If you’ve seen the new “GM” commercial, it’s obvious who created it. All it talks about is small, green and hybrid. And making a big deal of less being more.
Also I have no sympathy for any dealerships, because I doubt if there is any owners left who don’t carry many different names. As for the salesman, if they wait awhile, they will all be rehired through attrition. Anyway I doubt that anyone other than Greenies will buy GM.

Debbie you’re absolutely right about the ridiculous comparison. The “Crystal night” didn’t take place with the forced closings of these businesses.
However, It’s possibly just a heartbeat up the road if Hussein and Henchmen aren’t stopped soon and they start rounding up we “right wing extremists” when the next abortionist is harmed of worse killed.

Rush Limbaugh had the facts on the Gm and Chrysler dealer closings yesterday from somebody high up in management in both companies. It was on the first hour.
The corporations are not closing the dealers the order came from the white house. Barry Soetoro is implementing his socialistic vision of America.
These dealers having their franchises stolen from them are nothing but grand theft from the US Government.
There is no way the bankruptcy courts would terminate the dealerships, as you say they cost them nothing and produce sales for the corporations.
