EXCLUSIVE: Obama Homeland Security Brass Spent Day B/f 9/11 Golfing w “Resigned” Sexual Harasser Suzy Barr
While other federal law enforcement agencies spent the day before 9/11 monitoring terrorist threats and what turned out to be the beginnings of coordinated Muslim attacks against our embassies around the world, top Homeland Security Investigators spent the day golfing, drinking, and partying with the “resigned,” scandalized Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official Suzanne Barr, who is accused of sexually harassing dozens of male ICE agents. Yup. She’s BAAAAACK!
ICE Agents are aghast that Barr–the “former” top Homeland Security official, who “resigned” under fire after I broke the story of her sexual harassment of male agents–is apparently back in power, welcomed by Barack Obama’s top Homeland Security Officials. On September 10th, only a week after Barr allegedly resigned as Chief of Staff of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), she was welcomed by ICE Director John “Moron” Morton to an ICE Foundation golf fundraiser, making several top ICE officials wonder if she is truly out of the ICE picture. The event was attended by all of the top officials of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), as it is sponsored by all of ICE’s top contractors.
At last week’s ICE golf outing, sources say Barr arrived and was warmly greeted by ICE Chief Morton, as if she had never resigned. The sources also say that ICE agents in attendance, some of whom are potential witnesses against Barr in the supposed ICE Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) investigation of her sexual harassment, felt intimidated by her presence and that she lorded herself over them in the company and presence of ICE’s top officials and contractors. The agents found it ironic that Barr was welcome at the “2012 ICE Foundation Charity Golf Tournament to Help Fight Child Exploitation,” when she was involved in illegal adult exploitation of subordinates at ICE, according to an ongoing federal lawsuit by New York’s top Homeland Security cop and several affidavits from other ICE agents. They say that corporate sponsorships–which ran $1,000 to sponsor a hole and also included a foursome to golf–included an ICE official in each foursome and that Barr was in a foursome as if she were still an ICE official. (It’s also strange to use the term “foursome” in connection with Barr, given the many complaints about her sexual harassment of male ICE agents, especially since some allegations claim that several agents acquiesced to her demands and that their careers were advanced accordingly.)

The sources say that Barr imbibed alcohol from the early morning start of the event and that she arrived and left with officials of the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), one of Homeland Security’s largest contractors, which houses many detained illegal aliens awaiting deportation. But federal law specifically prohibits government officials from taking jobs with contractors until after a one-to-two-year “cooling off” period, as laid out in Chapter 18 of the United States Code Section 207. Given this, Barr’s fraternization with CCA officials was entirely inappropriate. And Barr’s close fraternization with a powerful ICE contractor intimidated many of the agents in attendance, according to the shocked sources.
The sources also say that Barr was also welcomed by Angela Zutavern, who heads the ICE Foundation, a top official of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a large ICE contractor. Ms. Zutavern has not yet responded to inquiries for this story.
As I’ve previously pointed out on this site, there is a very incestuous and unduly opaque relationship between top ICE contractors, ICE officials, and the ICE Foundation, even though the latter is ostensibly a private charity meant to help fallen agents’ families, among other missions. Some ICE agents say the ICE Foundation does good things and is to be lauded and supported. But the amount of money donated by ICE contractors to the foundation isn’t disclosed, and there is at least the appearance of massive conflicts of interest, if not actual ones (which is also likely). Again, corporate sponsorships to the golf tournament were $1,000 per hole (which included a golfing foursome with an ICE official) or $125 per single golfer. The event took place at Westfields Golf Club, a private club in Clifton, Virginia, built by golf pro Fred Couples. The proceeds from the same golf tournament, last year, went to buy computers for “ICE International partners” in the VirtualGlobal Task Force (whatever that means) against child pornography and sex tourism (which has very little to do with immigration and customs enforcement laws, by the way).
Regardless of the ICE Foundation and what it does, ICE agents are wondering why a woman who resigned in the wake of a public scandal involving sexual harassment is proudly showing her face–and worse, that she is welcomed by ICE’s chief, John Morton–to this event, just days after she allegedly left the agency. If Barr were truly gone from ICE and persona non grata at the agency, she’d have been barred from the event (and the event would not have been Barred). But she’s still running the show, apparently. That’s how it appears to agents who were at the event and stunned to see her there.
The fish rots from the head down. And in this case, the rotten fish heads are several: Barack Obama, his Homeland Security chief, Janet Napolitano, and his ICE Director, John Morton.
Will the stink be fumigated on election day? Unless that happens, Suzy Barr is having the last laugh . . . and she still holds power over ICE.
