Happy Easter to My Christian Readers & End of Passover for Me & My Jewish Readers

By Debbie Schlussel

I wish a Happy Easter to my Christian friends and readers, and a note about where I’ll be for the next two days:

Passover Matzoh

Tonight at sundown, the third part of Passover–the last couple of days–begins. So, I will be out of up-to-date blog commission until Tuesday Night. In my absence, I’ve prepared some items in advance which will be posted the next couple of days. Plus, I still have a couple of things yet to post today. Stay tuned. And thanks for your continued patronage.

See ya Tuesday Night, and, in my absence, like I said, there will be new, timely stuff I’ve written for you, so . . .

Y’all come back now, ya hear.

Dear Debbie:

Happy Pesach! Mrs. T and I watched the movie “LINCOLN” today. Given the time of year, it seemed appropriate to do so.

I also read your review of the movie. While criticizing “…this movie is populated by self-haters….” I couldn’t help but notice an omission worthy of mention. Sally Fields played the role of Mary Todd Lincoln and did a very admirable job of it. Sally Fields ALSO played the role of Betty Mahmoody in “NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER”. As far as I know, Sally Fields is not the darling of Muslims. Why did you omit that?

Just asking.

Regards,
