This article truly establishes a new benchmark for sleazy-pubescent, bigoted sports commentary. Move over Rush Limbaugh, Miss Schlussel’s one-upped you.

As for “looking like women”, if by that you mean having non-athletic proportions, yeah, the difference is that Miss Patrick isn’t an athlete. She drives a car, and the car provides the muscle. But I dunno, Becky Hammon, Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson, Sheryl Swoopes, etc., they all make “athletic” look pretty good to me. Maybe they just don’t fit your “Mary Kay” aesthetic? I mean, maybe you’ve just got a narrow sense of what counts as ‘beautiful’? OR, maybe you just learned as a teen-ager that calling women ugly hurt their feelings, and you like hurting feelings? I’m guessing the latter.

This article is right on the money. No one watches these women for two basic reasons a. they are not even close to as entertaining as watching men b. they are not much too look at. I only watch womens volleyball because of the bikinis. Call it whatever you want, but at the end of the day it’s the truth. Even women admit to hating the WNBA and prefer to watch the NBA. That should tell you something right there.

Amen Jennifer Starr, I was thinking the exact same thing;) I could go on a long rant about misogyny, homophobia, racism, your hatred for Islam… or any of the other hatred you spew, but I won’t. Love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, etc. Debbie, the things you write are truly saddening. Is this really your biggest of worries? You wrote about this in 2001 as well. Just do me a favor. Take a step back and look at the person you are. You should try to love people. For who they are. I honestly feel sorry for you.
