Dredging up decades-old charges (most of which were never even prosecuted, due to lack of a case) is not right – nor is it pertinent to the Congressman’s current credibility, or work.

Congressman Issa (and can we quit with the sophomoric name-calling, that’s become so prevalent, on this site?) has been pushing for a great deal of transparency, and advocating for conservative causes. We may not agree with him on some of the issues, but these continual ad hominems don’t get anyone anywhere.

I am the person who mounted an write-in campaign against “Jihad Derrel” in 2004. In 2004 I recieved about 80,000 votes against his 130,000 in a district in which Democrats were about 29% of registered voters.

I lived in Israel after being in the US Navy way back in 1978-79 almost a year. Kibbutz Gonen, then time in Jerusalem (I’m an extra in the movie “Jesus the man you thought you knew” from that period. Then down to Sinai. Moshev Neviot for 7 months then UP to Jerusalem lived with Leah Sotendorp (daughter of the author of “In the Footsteps of Moses”)

Etc. Anyway Debbie, I am on the other side of the political divide (also a Mensa member though), however, I seem to be mostly supportive of you on most issues of concern, so, well, good luck to you Debbie!
