Are You Eating Hezbollah’s Potatoes?

By Debbie Schlussel

Forget about the European Union’s designation of Hezbollah as a terrorist group. The EU has. Europe will now finance Hezbollah, by buying its agricultural products from Lebanon, and spreading them all over Europe. If you live in Europe and eat potatoes, you are probably helping finance Hezbollah. And the United States encouraged this enterprise (because, apparently, American potato farmers need more competition financed by their own taxes . . . and from terrorists, to make matters worse).

EU Ambassadwhore Eichhorst w/ Hussein Hajj Hassan (right) Agreeing to Buy Hezbo Potatoes

For years, Hezbollah grew hashish and other drug-related crops in the Bekaa Valley. But the United States suggested the group grow potatoes and even helped the terrorist group in this endeavor, courtesy of your tax dollars. Now, Hezbollah potatoes will be all over Europe, courtesy of European Union Ambassador, er . . . Ambassadwhore to Lebanon, Angelina Eichhorst, who has agreed that the EU will import 50,000 tons of Hezbollah potatoes . . . and pay big bucks for them. Eichhorst has some warped sexual fantasies about Hezbollah apparently, since she repeatedly–in the EU’s name–meets with Hezbollah officials, including Ammar Musawi and smiles her big girl smile at them. Wink, wink.

Lebanon’s Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Hajj Hassan, is from Hezbollah and negotiated the agreement with Eichhorst. The potatoes are all from Hezbollah farmers in the Bekaa Valley. For decades, Lebanon’s potatoes were banned in Europe because the potatoes were infested with brown rot. But, now, with American and other Western assistance, the farmers of Hezbollah have managed to take over the potato trade in Lebanon and to get rid of the rot.

The European Union is trying to get around its alleged boycott of Hezbollah by claiming that only the “military wing” of the terrorist group is on its terrorist list, not Hezbollah’s farmers, an absurd argument. It is like saying, well, only the human-eating part of Jeffrey Dahmer should have been put in jail. Here’s a tip: Hezbollah’s farmers finance Hezbollah’s terrorist operations, morally support and cheer on the terrorism, and they are also often Hezbollah terrorists themselves.

Soon Hezbollah’s potatoes will begin arriving on Europe’s shores. And if you eat anything with any potato ingredients in Europe–or if you live in America and eat anything from Europe with any potato-derived ingredients in it, you are eating Hezbollah’s spuds.

Bil hana wish shifa [bon appetit in Arabic], love Hezbos and the second Islamo-pandering Angelina (the first is Ms. Jolie), Angelina Eichhorst.

Well, you can’t smoke a potato, but you CAN carve one into a rudimentary pipe.

Judenlieber on September 12, 2013 at 3:17 pm

Sure you can smoke them. You’ve never heard of “hash” browns?

CornCoLeo on September 12, 2013 at 3:58 pm

I had forgotten Hash Browns! Thanks for reminding me! Of course I’ve forgotten a lot of things, but I can’t remember why.
As for the potatoes from the Valley, I think the Muslim world can really get enthused about them if they’re presented in the right way. “Hey Akhmed! How about big bowl of Juden Fries!” I think they’d go for that. Add a big chocolate Sheik and they’d love it.(Ahh…chocolate might be too intimidating.)They’d be two-thirds of they way to an American diet.
      I don’t think they’d go for the Haramburger,though.
      (And don’t even mention Cheeses)

Judenlieber on September 12, 2013 at 4:25 pm

Do you think if you’re gonna TRY to be funny that you actually BE funny? What a puke you are. Maybe someone will schedule into their calendar to laugh at your piss-poor attempt next week at 8pm. Unfunny loser.

Islam is a CURSE. All it touches and portends to proclaim is pitch. Only dummies embrace the rottenness it is. It’s pathetic there are so many imbecile dopes on the planet!

Skunky on September 12, 2013 at 4:47 pm

Wow! Thanks Skunky! You made my day! Most people just ignore me!
I couldn’t agree with you more about Islam. I have dedicated the rest of my life to hurting it any way I can. It IS too bad there are so many imbeciles in this world. Unfortunately some of them are on your side.
Like your kitty photo. I have two of them just like it.
          Hasta Luego!
          P.S. Wanna buy a gun?

Judenlieber on September 12, 2013 at 6:46 pm

I can see why you’re ignored. You’re annoying, stupid and un-funny.

You’re not kidding ANYONE that you hate Moooooslims. Is that why you filled your retarded posts with heaps of Jew hatred?

I hope you have a gun. Suicide is painless, dontcha know???

          “Jew Hatred”?
Try looking up “Judenlieber” in your Funk und Wagners. I’ve been a fan of Jews and Israel since before you were born.
I’m starting to understand why Debbie’s blog has a reputation for rabidity. Coming on the heels of the Horowitz-Radosh-Diana West blowup, this is discouraging. But then every ship has its barnacles…

Judenlieber on September 13, 2013 at 11:45 am

I don’t need to look it up in an American text book. I know German enough to know what it means and you’re using it in a wisenheimer way, dummy.

You contribute nothing except alert those who don’t know you personally that you’re super-annoying and never as funny as you believe you are.

We’d be embarrassed for you if you weren’t so grating. A curse that has your long-suffering family wondering what the hell they did so wrong to have to endure you.

Don’t mock this blog until you can actually contribute something other than your miasma of annoying-ness. DS’ work stand for itself…like your pesky problem stands out for all those unfortunate enough to be unlucky to know you. Even on Friday The 13th!

I actually prefer yams, as they are actually more nutritious and far less fattening than potatoes.

Ralph Adamo on September 12, 2013 at 3:18 pm

Hmmmm, I have this visualization in my mind that Hebollah French fries are dipped in blood instead of catsup!

I also note that while Europe is eating Hezbollah fries, they are actively moving to boycott Israeli agricultural products.

Jonathan E. Grant on September 12, 2013 at 3:54 pm

Yup. Especially Israeli wine.. cuz ya know – its grown in the wrong place.

But no problem with buying from Hezbollah! Just don’t accuse the Europeans of being hypocrites.

“and smiles her big girl smile at them. Wink, wink.”

She’s so gleeful that she looks like she can hardly contain herself. Libtards like this just love showing off for muslims and the unenlightened.

She’s letting everyone know that she truly believes that “muzzies R pee-pull 2!”

DS_ROCKS! on September 12, 2013 at 4:02 pm

Reward your enemy. That’s the ticket. Nothing makes better sense to our clueless, feckless, dishonorable, and moronic friends across the ocean.

And our policy makers take a back seat to no one in trying to purchase favor of Islam. We’re in some kind of stiff competition, all right. With ourselves! The cost of the folly has been steep, getting steeper, and without course correction just might lead to our ruin.

lee of the lower case "l" on September 12, 2013 at 4:23 pm

You should change the title to “Are You Eating Lebanese Potatoes?”.
The agreement was made between Lebanon and the EU, not with Hezbollah. Lebanese potatoes farmers are from all the sects.
Do you know that the inhabitants of the Akkar region are largely Sunni Muslims and Christians? I am not sure how credible is your source.

Erika on September 12, 2013 at 4:46 pm

Just read Debbie’s biography and you’ll quickly realize how racist she is.
Akkar is mainly Christian and Sunni. Our potatoes are good and Europe wants a share. You don’t need to make this about ‘terrorism’ and ‘politics’.
Go make a post about how Europe is backing the real terrorists and suicide bombers in Syria and not buying POTATOES from Hezbollah.

And btw Debbie: Lebanese people are Semites too, next time you make a post about Anti-Semitism think about us :).

jean pierre on September 12, 2013 at 5:01 pm

Oh No, Monsewer jean pierre – ‘anti-semitism’ was a phrase conjured up by a German professor to disguise the actuality –
which is Jew-hater. It seems it is easier for some to admit they might have some feelings of ‘anti-semitism’ rather than say ‘I hate Jews.’

But don’t worry, Jean. Europe and your friend in the White House are supporting your jihadists (sorry, ‘Brotherhood’) all the way.
    Spud King

Nir Leiu on September 12, 2013 at 5:14 pm

I’m Christian, I don’t symapthize with jihadists or any kind of extremists. Especially people like you.

[From Debbie: To my readers, JP is a perfect example of the many Hezbollah-supporting Christians in Lebanon, who hate Jews and Israel. They follow Michel Aoun. And even those who don't follow him still hate the Jews and Israel. DS]

jean pierre on September 12, 2013 at 5:31 pm

Jean, if you were a Christian you’d be more worried about what’s going in Syria and Egypt than the truth “extremism” that’s going on here.

Frankz on September 12, 2013 at 6:51 pm

We’re all worried here, and sadly all thr extremists are Sunni Muslims, if they were also Shia then that would be an even bigger problem. Can’t believe Obama is fundong them in Syria and fighting them in Afghanista.
It’s all fucked up, Syria wasn’t like that at before the war, they didn’t care who was muslim or christian or druz or whatever, just like the Lebanese Civil War.

Clearly Israel wants the only military power left in the region to be an internal police with no chemical weapons, etc…

jean pierre on September 12, 2013 at 10:48 pm

What the hell?! You seem to instantly make conclusions about people on the internet… Its pretty stupid if you ask me.
Because first of all I don’t support Hezbollah at ALL! And especially not that schizophrenic Michel Aoun, and I hate Israel and think you all deserve each other.
I only support our President and Military.
And by the way, there’s a difference between Jews and Israel, I’ve met Jews all around the world and we’re all the same, but I can’t stand someone who is consciously helping the funding of a Terror State.

Thank you. And I really hope you can learn to treat people better next time and stop overgeneralizing stuff, it’ll probably help you with your career.

jean pierre on September 12, 2013 at 10:41 pm

JP, you’re a Lebanese Christian. That means you have NO credibility here. Dhimmi as dhimmi can get.

And you prove the point we learned here by being a Hezbollah and Mooooooooslim apologist. Your own posts bolster that.

You only prove what we have learned. You’re helping THAT point of view rather than having anyone believe what you say. Dhimmi.

Skunky on September 13, 2013 at 9:55 am

I’ll by local or potatoes grown in the U.S., than you very much!!

Karen on September 12, 2013 at 5:15 pm

I guess that follows from the EU’s villainization of Israel. Israel is evil and trade with it must be restricted, but Hezbollah is all right (or at least its non-military wing).

Little Al on September 12, 2013 at 5:18 pm

Didn’t mean to copy what prior commenters said — but I guess the potato income should be added to the billions of dollars Europe and the US are already donating to Middle Eastern terrorists.

Little Al on September 12, 2013 at 6:21 pm

What do you expect from Eurabia? Honestly. It’s got it’s own exports to worry about.

moe-dearbornistan on September 12, 2013 at 11:36 pm

Well, like I said in a previous post, if you control the food, you control the people, but some of the dorks on this site made crass comments about what I said. The same thing is happening in this country but the people do not know it. If you look at a lot of farm land like in the valley, the mid west, etc., they have simply been bought by Muslim investors. I have not looked into it but I am willing to wage that they receive billions is subsidies not to grow crops.

AR on September 13, 2013 at 12:18 am

Erika said,

“Do you know that the inhabitants of the Akkar region are largely Sunni Muslims and Christians?”

My question to Erika, do you know that the Christians of that region are either pro Syrian intelligent, pro and members of the Franjieh’s family Al-Marada, members of the Nazi National Syrian Socialist Party, members of Michel Aoun’s Al-Tayar? I wonder what does that make them?

My second question, do you know that the Muslim Sunnis in that region are extremists in some ways that so many of them fight with the rebels in Syria and side by side of the terror group Al-Nusra and are hard core supporters of the group? Not to mention their loyalty to different extremist Muslim Sunni groups in Lebanon and some where else in addition to Palestinian terror groups.

Lebanon has no government. It is run by Huzbollah for now until the Sunnis with the help of the Saudis figure something out. It could become half Wilayat Al-Faqih half Saudi Royal. You figure it out.

The true Lebanese from Christians to Druze to others who care about the real Lebanon are not there any more. They either were killed, imprisoned, fled or gave up.

Each individual in the middle east must be a millionaire by now with the many trillions of whatever currency given to the mo-fos. Why doesn’t Ms. Lerner investigate that????

Nir Leiu on September 13, 2013 at 6:29 am

I grow my own sweet potatoes in 10 large hanging pots…the plants make lovely vines and I put a few flowers in with them and it looks like any hanging pot of vines and flowers. The pots hang on the overhang of long side of the garage… they get lots of sun. The yield is about 15 med size potatoes from each pot in the late Summer and early Fall. Enough for our family and the senior citizen neighbors next door.

I always buy AMERICAN white potatoes from IDAHO and also yellow gold potatoes and Vidalia onions from a small farmer( family friend) in Georgia, when we travel over there in the Summer and Fall. Other produce is either from our garden or other local produce. I freeze and can quite a lot of veggies in the Fall by the way. Yellow squash and tomatoes were REALLY a great producers this year in our garden. Watermelons not so big this year : (

I am VERY particular about ANY imported foods… NOT one thing ever from China, Turkey or Lebanon. Nuttin’!!

ISRAEL YES!! I buy Israeli imports all the time. mmmm TEA BISCUITS!!!

Strictly speaking as a professional chef, I’m convinced that the best potatoes on the planet are Yukon Gold potatoes from Washington State. Their creamyness, color & texture are AMAZING. And they work in all applications from whipped with butter, cream, chives, garlic & asiago, to baked, to au gratin.

As for the Hezbos & their potatoes, I’m surprised they aren’t using them in potato guns against the Israelis. After all, rocks, bottles, rockets, mortars & actual people are already thrown at them by the Hezbos. Why not this? These people are pathetic. As are those who do business with them & makes excuses for them. They can all stick these Hezbo potatoes up their collective butts.

Hezbo Potatoes Au Gratin:

Potatoes layered not with cheese, but with c-4. Hopefully, they’ll bake this in their own homes & not anyone else’s.

Cicero's Ghost (NB) on September 13, 2013 at 10:51 am

Sheesh, can’t we all just get along? Never mind.

Let’s see, which is the bigger waste of humanity and resources, the UN or the EU?

Islam is poison and death.
Muslims are nothing but maggots on the corpses of once great nations.
May Islam and all its adherents become extinct within our lifetimes.
Allahu fubar to you, Muslims.
Have a nice day.

The horror and illegitimacy of Mooooooslims may be complicated in total (many years, many long-ass Mooooooooooooslim names and lots of dysfunction, brutality, stupidity and sociopathy….) but the bottom line is more simple than stealing candy from a chubby & cute baby…

“This. Is. Islam.” Is what you always must know and follow and #2…

Lebanese Christians are the most Dhimmi of the Dhimmis.

You keep those 2 things in mind and actually HAVE a mind you’ll know what to believe. And it should NEVER be Moooooslims and their Dhimmis.

That was a stupid move by Hezbollah. Since when are potatoes more profitable to grow than hashish or other narcotic crops? They should switch back to drugs, & use the cash to save the regime in Syria – if they collapse, Hezbollah will go down w/ them
