VIDEO: SNL Skewers ObamaCare (Semi-Funny)

By Debbie Schlussel

In case you missed this from the beginning of last night’s “Saturday Night Live,” SNL mocked the incompetence of ObamaCare and the crappy excuses made by Health and (Non-)Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. The video is below. The only thing missing was mocking Barack Obama on this, as the fish rots from the head down. Also, it could have been much funnier. But good enough.

I didn’t see the show, because I was too busy watching NCAA Football all day long and all night long yesterday, in any event, that video was pretty hilarious Debbie, thanks for linking it. And at the end of the day, we all have to laugh at ourselves and use all sorts of satire on our political leaders from both sides!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

One can only imagine how much more “in depth” SNL satire would have been if the president had a R behind his name. SNL seems to miss the target on purpose with this one in office and so much material to draw from……….

Well, no one’s ever accused the SNL writers of lacking wit. That was a funny bit; but as is the rule, when the butt of the satirical humor are the “good guys” (i.e, the Dems) make it so silly that its sting just translates– “Well, stuff happens, they’re only human. All will be cool, soon enough.”

Subtlety, disguised in sardonic clothes, oh so carefully blunts the enormity of the catastrophe being brought on to the nation’s health care system. But it’s a liberal stall that has a date with its destiny. Reality awaits and Obamacare’s ramifications for all of us won’t be funny.

Like much else done on SNL their agenda laden bits, albeit they’re humorous, take the fun out of funny more often than not when the theme is political.

“Unfortunately Hulu is not supported on your platform.”

skzion – are you on an iPad?

Nope. An Android phone. It’ll handle flash but not hulu.

But I got the clip from Youtube.

        I love Android so much.

That was pretty good.

The real Sebelius makes my skin crawl.

Lee, your “lower case” ‘l’ is all too upper echelon when it comes to common sense. I haven’t seen SNL in decades, and can’t really watch videos well in the 1x data coverage I get from Verizon Serviceless down here. But Debbie’s article and the comments were all I needed. And yours is all too sadly accurate. That’s why we are where we are, quite simply, INDOCTRINATED.

There’s no better way to say it than you did. I can say it fairly well, and have many times, but it usually comes out a little longer than War and Peace. LOL!!!

Hey, Alfredo, you’re too modest…except when you’re not :). It didn’t take you many words to get the key word–indoctrinated. And duly capitalized.

    And thanks!
