The City of Edmonton wants extremist Muslim chicks in its police force so badly, it’s willing to adhere to sharia to get them. Therefore, the Edmonton Police Department is seeking a new Muslim head-scarf-infected uniform for women to, you know, “open doors” for Muslim women. I’m not sure why they are designing a new uniform for Muslim chicks who seek to “enforce the law,” when there already is one. See it below.
Let’s say you are a Christian or Jew and it is visibly apparent (because you are wearing a Cross, a yarmulkeh, or some other religious symbol). Let’s also say that you are attacked on the streets of Edmonton, or you are accused by some jerk of having attacked them. The perpetrator or accuser may or may not be Muslim. But it won’t matter when you encounter an Edmonton Muslim chick police officer, who really won’t care much about you when it comes to enforcing the law. But she will care about using her purported “law enforcement” powers against you.
I know that this happens because it happened to me. In 2009, when I went to Downtown Detroit to film the HAMASniks and most of Detroit’s Muslim leaders marching in support of HAMAS against Israel, several Muslim males tried to trip me, and then they tried to frame me. And, then, they brought over an Egyptian Muslim police officer who works for the Detroit Police Department to harass me and attempt to restrain my First Amendment rights. They tried to get him to arrest me, and he was inclined to do so. I only got out of it because some White, non-Arab police officers happened to drive by, and they rescued me from this crowd of Muslim Jew-haters and drove me away.
And the City of Edmonton wants to foster this kind of atmosphere in its police department by deliberately catering and kowtowing to Muslim women in seeking them out as police officers. Notice that they aren’t seeking designs for Edmonton Police yarmulkes to recruit Jewish men to the force and “open doors” for them. They aren’t seeking designs to make cross necklaces around the necks of Christians more prominent to “open doors” for them. Nope, just for shariah believers who choose to wear the headscarves of oppression and the official garb of women who support violent jihad.
A new uniform piece could ‘open doors’ for women of other cultures looking to begin a career with the Edmonton Police Service. At an Edmonton Police Commission meeting Thursday it was revealed that EPS is working on introducing a hijab option to the uniform. Natasha Goudar with the Equity, Diversity and Human Rights Unit said the conversation started when a recruiter was asked if EPS would “ever even consider allowing someone to wear a hijab.”
Goudar says officers have been working closely with various Muslim communities, talking to Imams about cultural implications and requirements. “One of the big concerns for them was an educational element to the introduction of the hijab. They didn’t want to just bring it in and have it sit on a shelf,” she told the commission. Goudar added that so far news of the new uniform piece is having a positive impact on young women in Muslim communities.
Those wearing a hijab, who thought a career in policing was out of reach because of their cultural practices are not seeing it as a tangible goal, she said. “One young lady told me that she couldn’t wait to pass this along to her sister, who didn’t think it was possible because she wore a hijab. Now it’s an option,” she said. “We started that conversation, and we’re hopeful we’re going to have a recruit wearing one soon.”
Hmmm . . . and maybe Ms. Goudar is hopeful of having a recruit wearing his face covered by a keffiyah and holding a sword over someone’s neck, soon, too. That’s coming to Edmonton in a few generations because of this appeasement. Also coming is the day that all female Edmonton police officers will have to wear this getup. That’s how Islam works. Today, the Edmonton PD is consulting imams on uniforms. Tomorrow, their choice will be THE uniform for everyone. And their form of “justice”–sharia–will be the law that is enforced. If you think that’s far-fetched, you are an idiot who doesn’t pay attention to history.
The head scarf would be black in colour, and sit underneath the standard issued Edmonton police hat. It’s projected that the hijab could be ready to go in spring or summer 2014, Goudar said. Newly appointed city councillor Scott McKeen was also sworn in as a member of the Edmonton Police Commission Thursday, and said he was impressed and proud of the work Goudar and her team have done.
Multi-culturalism, and then, Islam in . . . justice out.
