A discussion that came out of this article was the latest news of a.g. eric holder, appointing a special prosecutor to investigate alleged illegal interrogation techniques by C.I.A. I related that I understood that the reason they didn’t want to push forward with an inquisition was because of fear that a C.I.A. operative or office head will probably end up a media hero and the administration, soft morons. Screw the ACLU.

Joe: The most worrisome aspect of Islam is the extent, unique among major religions, to which it crosses the line into a political ideology. Combining that with its universalist claims results in a dangerous synergy. I certainly don’t deny that large populations in the Middle East and Muslim Africa, as well as significant numbers of Muslims in the West, have sunk into celebrating the worst forms of barbarism and cruelty.
But you may recall a classic series of experiments (I can’t remember by whom) done about 30 years ago in which ordinary people, with virtually no effort on the part of the experimenter, were induced to gain pleasure at the apparent sound of people screaming in agony from (fake) electrical shocks. But the upshot is that those Africans and Middle Easterners are just as human as you and me. And that’s the really scary part.

I’ve read that a large part of the reason that they hadn’t prosecuted those guys already was Oliver North. He’s a guy they tried to implicate himself, Reagan and anyone else in the loop but he ended up coming out looking like a true hero. Today he’s got a career in media largely because of his testifying. Wonder who’ll be the hero this time.

I hope you are right about this not going to trial. There are too many politicians in DC who would be very embarrassed by what comes out. However, if it means my Senator, Pelosi (God I hate to say that vile witches name) gets her due, then so be it. If they bring this to trial, the agencies should air out all the dirty laundry of all these politicians.

OUCH! everytime I think of and smell tequilla I have a really bad flashback of the worst hangover I have ever had. That is why Jim Beam and I are the best of friends,, he treats me well and no hangovers… You really had to bring up tequilla didn’t ya! HUNYUK! heheh
As for that traitorous AG I can say with a reasonable amount of certitude that this will never come to trial, for if it does all hell is going to break lose in the alphabet soup of agencies. and not even obummer can risk that.

I ran into a guy at a gym in Bakersfield back in 88 that was there as well. He had some commentary. I salute you Drakken.
I like some Crown Royal when I’m spoiling myself but Cuervo Black is still a fav.

I bought the dvd of “A Few Good Men” specifically for Colonel Nathan Jessups tirade in court.

I’m thinking of this after news today of the jihadi potus appointee AG pressing to get the CIA OPERATIVES! Wow.
Just thoughts. Can’t believe my ears sometimes.

Drakken – you were in the barracks in Beirut in 83? Holy screaming eagle sh#t (one of my senior DI’s favorite comments). I was a senior in high school when this happened, and right after this happened I joined the Corps on delayed enlistment. I had to get my parents to sign a consent form for me because I was only 17 at the time.

I am going to put this too you in a very simple way, islime and the West are and always have been incompatible. You have civilization and anti-civilization, I got my first taste of anti-civilization in Lebenon in 83 where my barracks was blow to bits along with my comrades. What a muzzy says to you and says among his own are the complete opposite of each other, so live by the words in God I trust, everyone else is a suspect.
Living in both the US and Europe the writing is on the wall, the govt’s there are now very afraid of the natives and what they are going too do to their muzzy guests, I have seen it first hand and it is only going to get worse. where it is going to start is a guess but if I was a betting man I would say Britain or Denmark first followed by everybody else. As we speak our Russian friends are rearming the Serbs for a Balkans II, and they aren’t bound by PC/MC rules. Make no mistake the perfect storm is coming, one just has to open their eyes to see it coming. and it is going to be our tribe against theirs and you can take that to the bank.

Since you choose to keep your pc/mc blinders on, I will say this, reality is going to be a real bitch. Yes history is repleat of such examples, but it is in our DNA no matter how much we try to deny it, or how much more evolved we say we are.
Jarhead would love to buy ya a couple alas my time here in the states is coming to a end and back to work so I will be gone for 8 months. The fishing here is just starting to get better damnit!

So the muzzies that seek jihad and blow up themselves and civilians, stone women and cut off limbs of children, and the people that celebrate in the streets after terror attacks are deserving of a label better than subhuman? Unfortunately it’s been polled over and over that the vast majority over 75% of muzzies(in the U.S.) approve of terrorist attacks. I’ve grown tired of p.c. people and await an administration that will deal more effectively with the subhuman muzzies that pray for our destruction.I also think that we’d be better off with a large parking lot in Afghanistan as well. Looks like by the look of things it’s the best solution rather than sending off the best people in our population to fight for those morons.
