Debbie, you are absolutely a freedom fighter, and IMHO one of the most useful figures in public life. Thank you for the freedom fighting, movie reviews, candy coupons, female catfights and sports as seen by a pretty girl commentary.

I used to be ‘Medaura’s’ friend. I used to have some of the best conversations with her, til her anti Christian bile boiled up to the top of every conversation. I haven’t talked to her in years.

Robert Spencer is one of the few people whose knowledge and understanding of Islam is truly encyclopedic. He knows what he writes and talks about. He has done more than any one else alive today to convey how dangerous it truly is to all of us. With his defense of Debbie, we are all in his debt.

I will admit Debbie, I have always liked you, read your columns, and listened to your radio program here in Michigan. ( I am still not sure what happened there).. I was completely ignorant to Islam until I started really reading your work and of course this site. I am much more in tuned with the subject, and while I have as a christian always supported Israel, their plight is so much clearer to me now… Thanks for the lesson

Every day my two must reads are Debbie Schlussel and Jihad Watch. Without at least one of them I would still be hopelessly naive about the threat to us all.

How many people know that some of the biggest threats to our freedom from Islamofacists come from the “stealth” (non violent) jihad? You would if you read the two sites I do.

I agree that Debbie has done great work with her site being a free speech place where people don’t have to worry about PC nonsense.

I nominate Debbie for a Freedom of Speech Award or some other 1st Amendment Rights type of award. It would be great to see the liberal main stream media reaction to this.
