The New Michael Moore has a local (for me) Congressman featured in it (aren’t we-Southern Indiana Hoosiers so lucky /(sarc incase anyone missed that!).

You know the Congressman who yelled at a Constitutent because she wanted to video the guy’s TH for journalism class- yep that’s the one.

(I am lucky I live in the district next door w/Mike Pence)!

Trying to remember the last movie I saw on the big screen.

I did enjoy the X Men wolverine movie. Action with a hint of moral compass.

I do appreciate the movie reviews from a conservative point of view.

Debbie, thanks for doing the work and reporting the
“values factor” in your reviews. For large families who consider seeing an occasional movie at the theater a treat, it is painful to waste $$$$ on crummy or inappropriate movies. The pain level rises beyond my tolerance level when the movie is not only crummy but filled with liberal indoctrination. Thanks for making it safe for us to venture out and enjoy the big screen.

So one of the reasons you didn’t like the original “Fame” was that it had a gay character (Montgomery)?

I guess you would’ve liked it better if he had committed suicide. Then you’d consider it a happy ending!

B: No, I didn’t like it because that and other liberal crap was shoved down our throats. The new “Fame,” which is lame but not as bad as the original, has a very obviously gay character. And it was just fine, since they didn’t shove it in our faces. DS

Sigh-I have to show my age. Back when I was young enough to enjoy ‘comic books’, DC comics and Carmine Infantino had a science fiction story where most everyone in our Western world gets fat and lazy, as machines do all the work. We mostly just watch TV. Physical exercise is outlawed.
But lean, hungry Communist Chinese soldiers invade, knocking out our defense machinery. Who can save the day?
Gymnasts. Secret athletes who train underground knock the stuffins out of the Chinese. We win, physical exercise is once more a virtue, happy ending. Beat that, Nick Fury!
