Bloody typical, the Democrats and republicans absolutely destroy Anthony Weiner over some embarrassing details of his personal life, things that are no ones business but his own. Perhaps the reason we Jews have higher success rates in professions is that we have a secret weapon called a Jewish Mother(& father)! Perhaps it is because the Jewish Community is proud of successful students, scholars and teachers. Even a tailer or laborer could be proud of being a Biblical scholar. Perhaps it is the discipline of learning a second language at an early age? Perhaps it is because we were not allowed to own property in Christian Europe, were frequently forced to escape pogroms, and needed portable means of earning a living like business acumen, skilled trades and professions. Perhaps we were were made a cohesive community and successful by the very anti-Semitic forces that have always tried to destroy us. “Supporting Israel” is not the same as supporting the Jewish Community in Israel. Some of the conservative Christians I have met know little of their history and Jewish Biblical heritage. They have a mission to convert the Jews and fulfill their Rapture prophesy. That kind of “friendship” we don’t need! We actually don’t want to be converted and will fight this form of cultural genocide tooth and nail.
Hannity and friends will always find someone to scapegoat because there are folks ignorant enough tune in and buy it. Remember, everyone became a member of a minority group the instant their ancestors arrived in America. Jews, Gays, & Muslins this month, which one of you are next?
