Debbie Schlussel: Religion of Peace Update: Honor Beheading of Cab-Driver in Windsor, Canada

The Religion of Peace (RoP) knows no bounds, borders, or other limitations. While the Detroit area is the heart of Islamic America, Windsor, Canada--just over the border--has a significant population of RoP members.

The latest "peaceful" incident is the beheading murder of cab driver and father of three, Thualfikar Alattiya.

Alattiya is Exhibit A that Muslim honor-killings happen here--and they happen to males, not just females. Alattiya was stabbed 27 times in the back seat of his taxi. "His neck was cut so dramatically that only the spinal cord kept his head attached to his body," according to the Windsor Star. He was honor-killed over a dispute regarding the purchase of property for a mosque.

Seven members of the Al-Ghazzi clan were charged in the murder, including a 16-year-old daughter who showed no remorse. She concocted alibis for and laundered the bloody clothes of the murderers, but will only do up to 3 years in a juvenile facility. "Dressed in a . . . black hijab, the girl . . . blew her mother a kiss before being taken back into custody." Nauseating.

Middle East violence of RoP is too close for comfort on our shores.
