Debbie Schlussel: Men-the New Women-Alert: New Nickel has "Softer" Jefferson

By Debbie Schlussel

We've profiled endless examples of absurd attempts (and, unfortunately, many successes) by the powers-that-be to feminize the men of America.

The latest--and most absurd--is an attempt to "soften" the features of a dead man on a coin. Yes, you've probably noticed the new nickel. The U.S. Mint has decided it needed to get away from harsh, "somber profiles" of our nation's Presidents and show their "softer" sides. That's why, for the first time, Thomas Jefferson is facing forward.
