Debbie Schlussel: Schadenfreude: NBA's Latrell Sprewell Unemployed
Remember Latrell Sprewell, the all around thug who choked his then-NBA coach, P.J. Carlesimo?
We can't help but take pleasure in the NBA player's current state of unemployment. He turned down a three-year, $21 million contract extension from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and didn't get anything else. Plus, he refuses to work for the NBA veteran player minimum salary of $1.1 million.
So, now, punk Sprewell is sitting in his hometown of Milwaukee waiting for a job. So sad, too bad.
