Debbie Schlussel: Finally: Canadian Conservatives to Arm Border Guards
Located near the Detroit-Windsor, Canada border, I've paid special attention to Canada's border guards and supported their right to be armed, when they went on strike over the issue.
Just elected to power, Canada's conservatives are already doing good. Vic Toews, a prominent, incoming Canadian Conservative, said that he expects the new conservative government to arm Canada's border guards not long after the new government is sworn in.
Well, it's about time.
