Debbie Schlussel: Islamist Ambulance Chasing: Muslim Group Trolls for Plaintiffs to Soak U.S. Taxpayers
Remember the absurd lawsuit filed by Arab group ADC (American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) against American taxpayers for not evacuating whining Hezbollah supporters from Lebanon back to our shores fast enough?
The suit was filed by "former" Islamic terrorist and eternal FBI award revokee Imad Hamad (ADC's Michigan chief) and his trolling-for-dollars lawyer, Nabih Ayad (a plaintiff in the ACLU NSA lawsuit). Now they are sniffing around for more "clients" for their absurd lawsuit.
This is from an ADC newsletter sent out today by Hamad's galpal deputy, Rana Abbas, another terror-supporter:
Urgent Call to Community Regarding ADC LawsuitADC Michigan calls on all community members who still have relatives, or friends that are American Citizens and remain trapped in Lebanon to contact the Law Office of Attorney Nabih Ayad at 313-792-8200 immediately and join ADC's lawsuit against the US Departments of Justice and State.
On July 24, 2006, ADC filed a federal lawsuit, claiming that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld failed to fulfill their constitutional and professional obligations and protect US citizens in a crisis or time of war. In the lawsuit, ADC alleges that the defendants placed US citizens in peril by not taking all possible steps to secure the safety and well being of US citizens in Lebanon. Further, the lawsuit asks the Federal Court to issue an order compelling the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense to request a ceasefire and to stop any shipments of weapons or any other military support to Israel during the evacuation of all US citizens out of Lebanon.
