Maybe Monique Buckner, a South African in England, should reconsider her conversion to Islam. If the disturbing story about her treatment by the man who converted her--her boss at a Muslim school--is any indication, sometimes Islamic piety is a sham. And women continue to be big airheads when it comes to instantly joining it without a second thought.
According to the Oxford Mail, Buckner's boss at the Iqra School in Oxford, England, Hojjat Ramzy, convinced Buckner to convert to Islam when she passed by his Islamic proselytizing stand on an Oxford street. He then agreed to hire her to teach English at the Islamic school, so that she would not be deported back to South Africa.
But when Buckner, 33, began working at the school Ramzy, a married father of five, asked her whether or not she was a virgin and said if he were younger, he would marry her, too.
"This disgusted me as I considered Mr Ramzy to be a pious Muslim whom I trusted and respected," she said.
Not long after, she was fired.
Is this kind of thing headed for America? Nope. It's already here. And five years ago Monday, it was empowered and strengthened on the heap of almost 3,000 Americans' bodies.
