Debbie Schlussel: University of Michigan Islamists Try to Disrupt Brigitte Gabriel; Please Show Your Support
My friend, the beautiful Brigitte Gabriel, author of "Because They Hate," has personally appealed to me because she is under threat of her life from Muslim extremists (a repetitive phrase, in most cases, unfortunately) who want to silence her.
Brigitte, a brave Lebanese woman of valor (and an American citizen), risks her life speaking out against extremist Islam and showing us how jihad is headed our way. Tonight, she is scheduled to speak at the University of Michigan, my alma mater, which my Dad and I like to call "Moscow on the Huron" (with apologies to Moscow).

Unfortunately, Al-Awda (which means "the return," as in Palestinian so-called "right of return" to all of Israel) sent out an e-mail urging its members to "welcome" Brigitte in a not-so-veiled threat on her life, her safety, and her right to free speech. Al-Awda does not even have the courage to post this vicious e-mail on its website.
I've written a great deal about Al-Awda over the years. Al-Awda's slogan is "No Justice. No Peace." And they don't mean their peace. It's yours. Al-Awda's emblem is a map of the entire State of Israel with a giant rifle on top of it and the label "Palestine." The group held a 2000 rally in New York City, at which they illegally facilitated a speech via telephone by PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) terrorist George Habash.
I hope that my readers in Michigan will come to Brigitte's speech in a show of support so lacking these days in the face of those who would take our rights away in the name of their religion. The location:
8 PM TONIGHT in Auditorium C of Angell Hall, University of Michigan
Please show up and show your support. And buy Brigitte's book. And visit her site, American Congress for Truth.
