Debbie Schlussel: The Islamicization of Christmas
In the Detroit area--Ground Zero of Islamofascist America--Christmas is being edged out by an Islamic holiday, Eid Al-Adha, the "Festival of Sacrifice" marking the hajj (Islamic pilgrimage) to Mecca.
Even though it is nothing on the order of Christmas, in yesterday's Christmas Day edition of the Detroit Free Press, the front page featured an article on Christmas AND Eid Al-Adha family observances. Along with a photo of a family in red and green plaid in front of their Christmas tree, the paper featured a photo of a Muslim family, the Bakris, with all of the women in hijabs. (Would post the photo, but my scanner is not working.)
And this was the scene in West Dearbornistan, yesterday. Look closely--it ain't a Christmas decoration:
