Debbie Schlussel: Conviction of Muslim Honor-Murderer of Christian Upheld
When Hezbollah-financier/restauranteur Talal Chahine was indicted, last year, news coverage focused on him, but not the completely under-reported story of Chahine's son's murder conviction.
As I wrote, Khalil Talal Chahine, a Shi'ite LebaneseMuslim, murdered Paul Hallis, a Maronite Lebanese Christian, because Hallis was engaged to be married to a Muslim woman. It was an honor-killing.
Chahine was convicted in 2005. On Tuesday, the Michigan Court of Appeals upheld that conviction.
