Debbie Schlussel: ICE's "23rd Psalm": A Tribute to Immigration Enforcement, The ICE Princess & Amnesty
You know the 23rd Psalm?:
The L-rd* is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yeah, thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Well, a very creative, patriotic, dedicated Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent--fed up with inept ICE "leadership," lax immigration enforcement, and Bush's absurd Amnesty bill, wrote his own version of the 23rd Psalm, "The 23rd ISLAM." It says it all:
The 23rd ISLAMICE is my employer; I shall not think.
ICE maketh me lie down and roll over: ICE leadeth me into folly.
ICE destroys my nation's soul: ICE leadeth me from paths of righteousness for political correctness' sake.
Yeah, thou they come from the Rio Valley, they fear not ICE, for ICE is hapless; Thy judges and politicians pardon them.
Thou preparest a Z visa as a present to mine enemies: Thou anointest my country with criminals; and the jails overflow.
Surely borders and countries are no more: and the USA a thing of the past; and terrorism will dwell in our house forever.
I could not agree more with this excellent run-down of ICE, immigration problems, the amnesty bill--all reasons why we are doomed.
The agent/author of "The 23rd Islam" writes:
Our adaptation of this Bible verse is not meant to offend anyone. Unlike Muslim extremists, we do not find it sacrilege to poke fun at organized religion.
BTW, The ICE Princess a/k/a Julie L. Myers is holding a phony, staged "Town Hall" meeting, today, at ICE Headquarters. Writes one agent (whose sentiments embody what I've been hearing from so many other ICE agents):
Myers is having a townhall meeting today/evening at HQ. Would love to hear the lies pouring out of her mouth. Im sure all those Agents in attendance have been warned not to ask any tough questions. I feel like this right about now, body blow, body blow, head shot,,,, knockout....
