Debbie Schlussel: Hannity's Schlussel's America: Blatant Thief Sean Vannity Steals from Schlussel Again
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPATE ****
Surprise. Ego-Without-Substance Sean Hannity has blatantly stolen from me, yet again.
What would career plagiarist Sean Hannity do without me? As you'll recall, Vannity (a nickname for him coined by Michael Savage) stole and repeatedly used--for eight days in a row!--my exclusive work on extremist, pro-Hezbollah Imam Husham Al-Husainy, without a single word of credit to me.
But it appears that all of his several ego-driven shows, including "Hannity's America"--the latest franchise of the bloated Hannity ego expansion, should be renamed in the interest of truth in advertising. The more appropriate name would be "Hannity's Schlussel's America" and my name should probably be added to his radio show, too.

For the last two weeks, I've been getting reports from readers that Hannity flat out stole the story I broke on the Muslim footbaths at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Readers told me that on Hannity's nationally syndicated ABC Radio Show, Hannity read virtually word for word from my column, passing it off as his own commentary. And apparently, he did the same, again, last night on the "Hannity's Schlussel's America."
As readers will recall from the episode of Sean stealing my work on Al-Husainy, Hannity is shameless in lying and trying to cover up his plagiarism when he's been exposed. He claimed--on his ABC radio show--"we discovered the Imam." Uh, no you didn't. (A simple Lexis-Nexis search would bear out that everyone had discovered the guy before Vannity.) He admitted to me that he ripped off my work, uncredited, and promised to credit me. But never did. It took the gutsy and valiant Michael Reagan to give me credit on "Hannity's America."
Readers have told me that Hannity has been ripping off this site and my exclusive work, all year long. So, it's hard to jibe that with the fact that he repeatedly calls himself "the right wing poster boy for all that's good in America." Since when does he think being the White, "conservative" (real conservatives respect property rights) version of Joe Biden and Jayson Blair is all that's good in America? It ain't.
So Sean, when do I start getting credit for my work? When do you start having a conscience and some ethics? The answer to both of those questions is apparently a big, fat Sean Vannity ego-sized "NEVER."
Now, I know how Rush Limbaugh feels--since Hannity is a substandard repeat of the excellent Rush, every single weekday.
E-mail Sean Hannity, his producer John Finley, and FOX News Vice President Bill Shine and ask them why they continue to steal from me and refuse to give proper credit. Call Finley (212-301-3194) and Shine (212-301-3289) and register your disappointment.
**** UPDATE: As one reader--whose e-mail is representative of the many I've gotten--wrote:
I didn't watch the whole segment because it was "old news" to me, thanks to you - I was essentially waiting for him to cite you, and it never happened. He had some civil rights attorney in his "hot seat" trying to defend the footbaths . . .
