Assistant Secretary Myers’s admission concerning the events of October
31st validated the substance of the claims contained in the facsimile
transmission. Simply stated, there had been a Halloween party, the
winner of the “most original costume” award was an ICE employee who
wore prison garb, skin-darkening makeup and a dreadlock type wig and
Assistant Secretary Myers along with other high ranking ICE officials
