Watch this video, then read Terence Jeffrey's column about it--about how undercover agents were successful when they tested the system and pretended to be smuggling radioactive material across the borders from Canada and Mexico. They did this with ease. It's the great American comedy that we shouln't be laughing about. But it's such a joke.
Sadly, none of this is a surprise to me, and it shouldn't be a surprise to you. We are no safer after George W. Bush's almost 7 years after 9/11, just less safe:
