Debbie Schlussel: Hmmm . . . Big, Fat Meat-Eating, Pet-Owning, Fur/Leather-Wearer is PETA's "Person of the Year"
Since PETA a/k/a PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) is constantly telling us to wear cork shoes and eat tofu, it's kind of surprising--not to mention, hypocritical--that it picks this huge meat-eater, who wears leather shoes and clothing, as its person of the year. And don't forget that this person has pet dogs, another PETA no-no. And, as I've noted, she is racist against Black dogs, even though she is Black and tells us not to be racist.
This begs the question: Since PETA believes animals are equal--and even superior--to humans, why does the organization have a "Person of the year" and not a "Beast of the year"? Why does it insist on continually honoring the subrate humans, when it could honor righteous goldfish?
If there's any mercy, this new PETA Person of the Year, won't do one of those, "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" posters, since she does wear fur, and more important, we don't ever--never ever--wanna see her naked. She's the archetype of women we'd like to see in burqas.
