Bush Official's Deaf, Hillary-Esque Mid-East "Listening" Tour
This week, Bush Administration official Karen Hughes is on what she calls a "listening tour" of the Middle East (really, Muslim Middle East, since Israel is not on the tour) to improve OUR image with THEM. (Remember Hillary Clinton's pre-Senate run "listening tour" of upstate New York? She was equally obtuse to the sounds of disdain for her.)
This pandering to those who hate us, must end. This pathetic display won't make them hate us any less, or fear us more (which should be a U.S. objective).
For the rest of us--unlike the deaf Hughes and her Bush Administration compatriots, who still have our hearing intact--we don't need a "listening tour." We've already had ours. Four years ago, we listened to this sound and heard it loud and clear . . . .

Then we listened to this from all over the Islamic world . . . .

No "listening tour" needed. We've heard enough!

» Illegal immigration and appeasement from Tel-Chai Nation
Two very good arguments, one on the rash of illegal immigration that's been plaguing the US, yet the government, presumably in hopes of acquiring the votes of immigrants for political reasons, does nothing to stop them, and the other on the state dep... [Read More]

It must be poor practice for those receiving US aid money to mock us. Public demonstrations must bring about at least a one year shutoff of money.

This is what really bothers me. We know these important Muslims she is meeting are pretending (taqiyya magic). Very demanding - like stop Israel, make Israel give up the West Bank, give us money, give us free education grants to America for students WE choose, America pays everything for them yes - but also very clever - of course we want peace, these terrorists have twisted the words of Allh, we need America to invest in our country and build things. It's pretending. But Karen...I think she will think it's all real and sincere. I say this because she has not studied Islam, does not know what taqiyya is, kitman, dhimmitude, jizya, jihad by tonque, pen, money, taiyyamasters placed in excellent positions inside the infidel machine (universities, administration, justice, FBI, CIA) and so much more. I really don't think she understands this at all. In fact, this woman has not read Infiltration by Sperry (which should be mandatory for everyone in the Administration). In fact, she is probably getting advice from Karen Hughes or John Esposito. It's disappointing and dangerous.

This is bullshit! Listening tour?! WTF?! The only listening tour that Karen Hughes should be on in the Middle East is the one where these stone age sand monkies listen to what WE (THE UNITED STATES)want. This is just more appeasement bullshit! Since when were these pathetic nations in a position to tell us what they want?!

The fact that Bush actually needs this second tier communications "expert" Hughes to find out what is going on with Muslim women speaks at least two cheap novels and a Page Six opinion on Bush. He is the least articulate president since Coolidge and if you checked his reaction time you might think your machine was broken.
Addressing myself to the Muslim women; if you haven't read the many sites and essays regarding the Muslim women and their satisfaction and happiness with their religion you don't belong in public office. Most all women regard their religion as family, as a social glue holding them all together, and a contract with God. Many Muslim women return to Saudi Arabia and other places so they can more effectively practice their religion.
What next? Karen Hughes listens to Harry Reid? I for one am tired of pretending that Bush is somehow a good president and a great leader when he obviously is not.

The Neo-Cons and Neo-Libs are taking away our freedom folks. They don't care about us they don't care about the Jews (for whom my late father's cousin died for while fighting for the 442nd RCT) but just money.

Here's the latest dispatch from the road from our great ear of MIddle East empathy, Karen Hughes:
>> JIDDA, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 27 - The audience - 500 women covered in black at a Saudi university - seemed an ideal place for Karen P. Hughes, a senior Bush administration official charged with spreading the American message in the Muslim world, to make her pitch.
But the response on Tuesday was not what she and her aides expected. When Ms. Hughes expressed the hope here that Saudi women would be able to drive and “fully participate in society” much as they do in her country, many challenged her.
“The general image of the Arab woman is that she isn’t happy,” one audience member said. “Well, we’re all pretty happy.” The room, full of students, faculty members and some professionals, resounded with applause.<<
Yeah... I'm convinced now that these women are pleased and content with having to wear a fukkin' Halloween Costume all year long and be the spousal equivalent of a rented mule. Thanks for keeping an open ear, Ms. Hughes.

Never be shocked when the Establishment Republican Adminstration abases itself before the Muslim world. Karen Hughes is the same type of wishy-washy Republican as Peggy "1,000 points of light" Noonan. Frankly I as an American am embarassed by this "listening tour." Maybe we ought to be telling them why we hate them!

Do you think Karen would have the guts to ask her "open-minded" hosts one question...
Where are all the Churches and Synagogues in Saudi Arabia? I mean fair's fair... the Saudis are, after all, spending billions on building mosques in the US, and across Europe. So surely there must be at least one Church and one Synagogue in the "Kingdom".

Hey Ripper, a true Republican conservative like Deb here is byfar different than the idiotic Neo-Cons and I am a Democrat but do not support the Neo-Libs like the http://www.dlc.org. I support the Republican and would love to see a REAL Republican in office, not some Neo-Con or Neo-Lib kowtowing to the terrorist nations of the world

Hey KOAJaps
Neo-Cons do not kowtow to Islamofascist nations. Paleocons do as do Liberals.

Hey Ripper, I'm a liberal and my late father's cousin died during WW2 fighting the Nazis. Friends from the 522nd

Read
Liberation of Dachau by Japanese Americans

So I have a problem when I see both neo-Cons and Neo-Libs who kowtow to terrorists. And is Prescott Bush., father of George H.W. and Grandfather of G.W. Bush a liberal?

I get offended when I'm lumped in with the Neo-libs as well as the Neo-Cons.
