From the U.S.S. Arizona, Pearl Harbor: Never Forget
These words apply today, but unfortunately people have forgotten. And they do not recognize that we are fighting an enemy within that is even worse:
My brothers lie in state,
In clear waters
Of testimony, their willingness
To answer our Nation's call.
An angel bends down, whispers in my ear,
Never forget. Never forget.
Honor them. They
Gave their lives for you.
No man hath a greater love.
Do them honor.
And never forget.
(Thanks to Michael Geer for sending.)

When the nit-wits I work with come in tomorrow and start the day off with "this is the 25th anniversary of the death of John Lennon", I will be quick to say "so what!?!" Yesterday was the 64th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by our then enemy, Japan. Why didn't you bother remembering something far more important than the death of a pop icon?!

Hey yiddish, I bet these same morons also approved the round up of more than 120,000 Americans and illegal incarvceration, though my dad's cousin died fighting the Nazis during WW2. They never found his body.
