These are clearly threatening e-mails, which ought to be investigated by the authorities. If the feds won't do anything, then try the local authorities. If I were to send e-mails of this type, I'd be prosecuted for threatening bodily harm; using a computer to commit a crime; stalking; harassment; and maybe more.

I'd also get a gun carry permit. You can use the same reasons that other business owners use, i.e., your blog is one of your main sources of revenue, and, as such, you receive death threats from people who exhibit and have demonstrated behavior of criminals.
