Mel is a classic anti-Semite, Jewish girlfriends and all. And I've never seen a more craven bunch of Jews than these Hollywood "friends" who defend him.

Many Jews might "defend" Gibson by using sophomoric--but apparently effective--arguments along the line of "Well Mel said this...but what about (fill in the blank)?"

Or, even more crudely, comparing his spoken words to people who actually kill Jews.

There is truth in these arguments, but so what? It doesn't change the fact that Gibson said what he said.

And, many seem to miss two things here--

1. He was too stupid to get someone to drive him home, and was too stupid to keep his mouth shut. PLEASE don't buy the "alky" argument. What? Ingesting alcohol changes your entire belief system? At best, when intoxicated, one loses his inhibitions.

Thus, he is UN-INHIBITED and says what is in the back of his mind! Duh...

2. He will put himself through a completely phony secular penance process, arranged by self-proclaimed keepers of the Jewish flame--and then everything will be OK once more.

As to Jodie Foster's remarks--Debbie is right on. Foster seems to be put on this earth just to annoy people....

As a known Lesbo who keeps playing mother roles, to the horrific "Flight Plan," that defamed our own Air Marshal service, to starring in the only Grade-Z slasher film that ever won an Oscar (only because of its high-profile cast)

This filmgoer has seen more than enough of the former Disney child star. Walt is spinning in his grave--no doubt.

The only "Braveheart" around these days is Debbie and shamefully few (mainly female) others.

Those of us who have noted a rapid return to the 1930's should stand together.....unfortunately, this is not happening. Our parent's Warsaw, Kiev or Hungaria has been re-named Detroit, Los Angeles and Tel Aviv.

Debbie, you have "Dosh" from Tamar in Herzliya (Formerly Israpundit and Internet Haganah), she lost her english language venues for being "too militant", "uncompromising", and too darned "Israeli". Gibson didn't kill a Jew but no one should accept those kind of views in this country. I can imagine if he said things about blacks analogous to what he said about Jews, his career would be permanently over. What if he had made remarks defaming the Prophet Mohammed and the Koran? Our "cousins" are not so tolerant of perceived transgressions against their faith as Jews are.

As for Jodie Foster's project, does Hollywood really need to rehabilitate a Nazi propagandist? With all the wartime stories they could tell, this is the one they pick. And they wonder why they're losing moviegoers. Riefenstahl tells us nothing about the history of the cinema and everything about her was about her identification with Nazi beliefs.

I have not agreed with the Israeli government's pursuit of national suicide in the past and I will be against if it is so foolish as to press ahead with the eviction of more Jews from their homes. This war should teach Israelis a lesson and that is giving away places like Eli, Tekoa and the Jewish Quarter of Hebron will stimulate ever greater Arab savagery against the Jewish State.

I first saw Jodie Foster back in a 1973 TV epsiode of Kung Fu when she was 10 years old and adorable. Since she has grown up she has become annoying as all hell and I find her last movie "Flight Plan" (which was recently on cable) - detestable.

A lot of people think that anti Semitism means you can never like an individual Jew. That is false. Some Hollywood guy wrote that Gibson sent his wife (who happens to be Jewish) a long congratulatory letter after she gave birth, therefore he could not be an anti Semite. That is such hogwash! An anti Semite can like individual Jews, even Naom Chomsky the Israel hating Jewish professoris welcome in Lebanon. You can be a virulent racist and still like or be good to individual Blacks.
