Kiefer: "24" to Take "Strong Political Stand" . . . in Support of American Islamists?
More bad news from the "24" gang.
Star and Executive Producer Kiefer Sutherland told USA Today that the show will take a strong political stand, this season. As if we needed more shows taking political stands. Here's the quote:
He [Sutherland] says one major story line will "take a strong political point of view. It's a major point in a way the show's never taken before."
Just what could this "strong political point of view" be? Well, most of what we know, so far, all hints at the political point of view being that most American Muslims are against terrorists just like we are (they aren't) and that all terrorists are not Muslim (most of them are).

This week, FOX sent out a press release announcing that a trailer of season 6 will be available at www.24trailer.com, beginning on October 24 at 3:00 p.m. In the release, FOX noted that the season picks up "after a series of horrific terrorist attacks."
We already noted that the main villain will be played by Eddie Izzard, a White man, not a Muslim.
We also noted that actor Kal Penn will play a man involved with the leader of a neighborhood mosque, and that FOX said his character "may be" the key to a terrorist plot.
Sounds to us like this "strong political point of view" will be a very politically correct one. We were already treated to Sutherland's absurd apology/disclaimer, during season 4, to America's Muslims, claiming their entire community "stands firmly" against terrorism (when they don't):
Hi. My name is Kiefer Sutherland. And I play counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer on Fox's "24." I would like to take a moment to talk to you about something that I think is very important. Now while terrorism is obviously one of the most critical challenges facing our nation and the world, it is important to recognize that the American Muslim community stands firmly beside their fellow Americans in denouncing and resisting all forms of terrorism. So in watching "24," please, bear that in mind.
Look for that to be the message of this season. We hope we're wrong but all indications are that way.
Remember, Jack Bauer, may be your typical, brave, patriotic, hard-working federal agent fighting terrorists--and they tend to be conservative and not PC. They know the enemy is radical Islam. But Kiefer Sutherland--who plays him and has tremendous creative control of the show as an Executive Producer--is a girlie-man.

Last I've heard, they've got creative license to make the bad guys whoever they want..PC or not..
AND I HAVE THE CREATIVE LICENSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. THAT'S THE POINT OF THIS SITE.

Politics don't necessarily transmit from one generation to the next, but....
Papa Sutherland (Donald), in addition to starring in M*A*S*H, was part of Jane Fonda's FTA (F*** the Army) agit-prop theater/movie:

(There's a picture of the troupe in her autobio she released a year or two ago.) Donald Sutherland: another Canadian who made it big in America.
btw, Page Six-worthy gossip: I ran into Donald Sutherland in the 1980s on Fifth Avenue near Central Park in Manhattan. For what it's worth... he was walking a big, charcoal gray, highly-groomed poodle.

This is just another example (and another generation) of the Hollywood set that portrays itself as intellectually competent on world affairs, US history, and the like. If there is a God (and I believe there is), he's probably planning Sodom & Gomorrah II, and any fool can see the paralells between the old decadent cities and the one on the Left coast. These people all have lots of money and media access to show the world how cowardly and foolish they are.

How long will people keep watching this anyway? It's the same thing every season.
At the beginning Jack Bauer will be a rogue agent hunted by law enforcement and CTU. (This is usually the only watchable part of the season)
Then he'll have encounters with bad guys, turn up some evidence, have a few shootouts, get back in with CTU, and hunt down a lead only to have that lead be assasinated
Hints will emerge the government is behind it, Jack will go rogue again, endless CTU soap operas follow that no one remotely cares about
Jack gets back into CTU and all is forgiven with new evidence and revelations, Jack will have to torture someone who may or may not be guilty
etc etc... it's the same thing every season, the show is nothing more than a parody of itself by now
SULTAN:
YOU ARE SOOOOOOOO RIGHT! I'D LOVE TO SEE ALL THE WRITERS ON THAT SHOW REPLACED BY PEOPLE LIKE YOU. THE SHOW IS GETTING OLD AND STALE. THEY NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE. LAST SEASON WAS TERRIBLE.

Another son of a Hollywood Leftist shows his true red colors. The rotten apple doesn't fall far from the rotten tree.

What would be wrong with casting every terrorist in the image of the REAL ONES--hello--that is Muslim and usually Arab?
You know Debbie what our friend Osama would say to that--"in the history of the US there has never been a single conviction of an Arab for terrorism..."
Could someone point out to Mr. Siblani (who says, "of course we oppose terror of all kinds"-) that the "martyrs," for whom he calls for high honor, cannot be convicted if we can't find the spalttered remains--HELLO? Why are these people such duplicitous liars?
